I think we could go back and forth all day looking to attribute blame for one thing or another at the weekend.

personally, i think its quite clear that blame lies with 2 parties.

1. Celtic - i will never forgive them for replacing a manager the calibre of Rodgers with Neil Lennon, in the most important years in our clubs recent history. unforgivable to give Rangers that chance.

2. Rangers, the club, and their support. You're dhicks, just accept it, but maybe stop acting like dhicks publicly.

the indian variant was reported here at the end of march.

it took them a month.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

4 flights in to Heathrow from India this morning. I find it crazy that I need to live with restrictions to prevent spread of an Indian virus variant and keep people safe, but those actually from India can fly in to the country no problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Baws.

There was 2 and everyone would be taken to a hotel for paid quarantine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Said as such earlier.

But let’s not go down that path again. We’re all happy hhun bashing <laughing>

Works for me. A female rangers fan getting her head nudged by a riot shield.

Slowed down and repeated to look like something worse than it is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not a polis but if I was I’d hit the coonts wi ma taser
Fookin clowns it’s a party no a fight
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The people throwing bricks, bottles then yes.

A lassie too drunk to move getting rattled on the back of the head with a riot shield - maybe not so much IMHO

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The problem with such a short clip like that is that it doesn’t show what occurred before it.

If I saw a line of police in riot gear walking towards me and telling everyone to move, I’d have a tendency to walk away, not sit in front of them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unless you were under a polis motor wi two immigrants in it
The police aren’t always right
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They’re not-but stupidly defying them to make a point generally has repercussions. I seriously doubted that all the riot police picked her out and decided she was the only one that they were asking to move.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said passions were running high
A pashed person tends to make irrational choices
I’m not apportioning blame

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think the Admiral are content in who they blame...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One outburst
----------------------------------------------------------------------

But what an outburst

Kinda feels like you're over-using that insult strategy a bit now

It’s like arguing with the pub bouncers in the belief they will see reason and let you in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I wonder if any bouncer in the history of bouncing has ever said.

'Ah d'you know what - you are three sheets to the wind and have clearly soiled yourself several times but I've changed my mind c'mon in...'

We have an accord

I had an accordion on Saturday

When you said you had a squeeze box I thought you'd nicked a packet of Crunchy Nut from Tesco.

Aim high mate
No limits to our potential

Is that what the dwarf said to you?

posted on 18/5/21

Learned that lesson a long time ago.

On one exception when mates were trying to get in I was the sensible one who said “leave the boys alone, they’ve a job to do and fwck all we’re going to say is going to change their minds. Come on”

At which point we turned to go and the man in charge says “sensible decision mate, you can come in if you like”

Sorely tempted

‘ What isn't in doubt though is that this vid will be used to fuel a victim agenda on social media though’

Why share it then?

I get the need to try and mitigate the damage from Saturday, but it’s a better route to just say mea culpa rather than some of the deflection that’s been coming out.

What others have said or done doesn’t minimise what happened.

The defection move is employed in politics and sadly works, so why not this situation?

‘ What isn't in doubt though is that this vid will be used to fuel a victim agenda on social media though’

Why share it then?

-----------------------------------------------------

Because it's equally as valid as the other videos which were shared.

Because it potentially backs up my point about a 'victim mentality' being some of the fuel which influenced people in a negative way.

Also, deflection would be about trying to absolve those who caused the issue from full blame.

That is not the case - if it was i certainly wouldn't have been as forthright in using terms like 'worst coonts', 'neds' and 'these are Rangers fans'.

What i'm am not going to do is just pick and choose what aspects of the situation to discuss.

I'm going to discuss all facets of what I think I understand about football hooligan/ned culture and how that pertained to the situation which arose at the weekend.

Only viewing a situation from one side with no will to engage in a holistic view of a situation is as bad as deflection imho

And if people aren't comfortable with that then I guess it says more about them than me
