Lodeiro, Lamela a good partnership in the making imo

both are yes but sissoko is going to get crucified in that hes barely a proper dm let along someone who can win a midfield battle defensivly on his own.

think you need a CM alongside him really with Lamela Lodeiro Ramirez behind the striker.

Q - Well Fan, you missed out on Marcos Reus, are you dissapointed?
A - Well obviously, however we do feel the price was just out of our range and we werent going any higher, he is a talented player but we have enough quality in our squad so I am not going to slit my wrists over it..

Q - You were pretty quiet during dead-line day, any insight to your new players?
A - We brought in Alexander Merkel and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, with Tabanou, Albrighton, Aurier and Lanzini & Boyata moving out. Adam Maher was also promoted to the senior squad.
Siggy is a quality kid and will push Darren for a starting spot soon Merkel and Maher may not be ready yet but in time they will prove to be valuable assets for the club.

Q - You let Albrighton go back to Villa, was he unhappy?
A - yes he was, unfortunately for him we have Willian playing really well at the moment and Marc was frustrated with lack of game time. He handed in a transfer request as soon as Villa came calling and we really couldnt stand in his way.

Q - You missed out on Garcia and Lazovic again, will you give up on them?
A - They are two players I have admired for a long time but I guess they will only move if we reach Europe, so we better start moving up the table.

Q - Will that start this weekend against Wolves?
A - We have a squad capable of hurting the top teams, so I dont see why we cant get a result. Wolves have moved on since Luka, and their isnt quite that same rivalry between us.

Q - You are your biggest rivals now?
A - Well, I am dissapointed to see Newcastle fall away, I thought they would have been pushing the top teams but for some reason they are just going through the motions. I would have to say Portsmouth, Liverpool and Manchester Utd.

Q - Any personnel rivalries?
A - Well, tbh now that Luka is no longer at Wolves there is no one really..I might start a fight soon tho just to heat things up..
