Since the Premier League began there have been 4 different winners. Blackburn, United, Arsenal and Chelsea.

In that same time Barca, Real, Valenica, Deportivo and Atletico have all won the Spanish league.

Real and Barca are the two best sides in the world. Compare the points they have to the points City and United currently have. No real difference.
