that was an absolute stonewall penalty btw, ivanovic has a bit of a mean streak in him and that was a very hard elbow, didnt like thaqt carroll went down clutching his face, but still a penalty, and i think if a different ref was running the game there could have been 3 men off, shelveys near 2 footer was pretty bad, but then essien just had to try and top him, a god awful tackle, 2 footed from behind, should have been a red

and suarez is a bit of a bar steward for a nutmeg

essiens not a red!! it was 2 footed from behind, going straight for one of carrolls legs when he was off and away with the ball, an absolutely shocking tackle, and if it were a stoke player making that tackle, they would already be being condemned in the press
