and johnson has been one of our few plus points this season, fantastically defensively, and our best wide player going forward

id have preferred him not to be in the squad though tbh, he isnt going to get utilised, as will neither of the cms, he just lumps it up from the cbs so expect carroll and wellbeck to start

The Germans, French, and Dutch (I think) have all announced squads that I think are stronger

And the Sweedish squad, is pretty decent in Midfield + up front

I don't think it should be a surprise that the German squad is better.

Don't think theres much difference between French, Dutch and English squads personally.

Portugal have announced a decent one too, good XI anyway but perhaps lacking depth

Some weird choice for england squad. Downing offers like nothing to me just seems like players have been picked on reputation. Especially Defoe and downing they've done nothing all year!!

AOC although a good player doesn't start for arsenal very often so why is he in England's squad? Johnson, Lennon, Sturridge surely currently better options?

this may offend you but i think bobby might still turn you down... i think he might turn you down because of the short time fans might give him which if he is sacked could put him back down the leagues...

If Martinez is offered the Liverpool job he should take it.

Wigan if he turns it down for that reason (fear/lack of trust in his ability) then he doesn't deserve the job. Liverpool are a big club and if you're afraid of failure then you're not going to make it there anyway.

as punt pointed out, alot of fans do want rafa back, and if a new manager does have a poor start, they will be chanting his name in the stands, and we could have a similar situation to kennys appointment
