Well Barca do have a hectic schedule and the likes of Xavi and Iniesta do get fatigued so i do expect them all to rotate.

But I'm assuming Fabregas will be allowed to settle in and will be pivotal when Xavi is going on 32/33 hence the purchase.

fabregas would be better in iniestas role imo, they should buy javi martinez to replace xavi hes similar in style of player whereas fabregas and thiago are both more advanced players

I do think Fabregas has the ability to play deep though, excellent at opening up defences with his vision and passing game. I think if they buy him now he'll be seen as more of a 'luxary' player. Fabregas won't be regarded as high as he is in England and it will hamper Thiago's development. Barca should of waited another season or two.

mascherano is till youngish busquets 22/23 and thiago is going to be amazing.

mascherano can hold, busquets play the xavi role and thiago replace iniesta, Thiago could be better than fabregas tbh

buy someone like martinez and maybe ander herrera for squad back up rather than spending 40m on fabregas
