If he fails to get Conte or Poch he's going to get a lot of grief next season.

Think we've all had enough of his constant fack ups. Missing out on a top manager who wants to come would be the final straw.

If mid table is the ambition this should be reflected in the ticket prices too

Conte apparently is having second thoughts based on the level of investment Levy is willing to put in. Quite honestly, I think Levy is right to stand firm. We can't just get a manager in to bankrupt us. This is the warning sign about getting a manager in like Conte and why we should have gone for Poch or ETH all along. We need a manager that can work within the financial structures of the club. It's all very well saying "put your money where your mouth is" but there are rules that stop that. Lewis can't just throw in a billion. FFP rules have tightened in the last 5 years or so.

Conte is not the right man for us. I'm surprised so many thought he was.

Just putting the sensible argument out there. It's not fantasy football. It's real money. Too many fans think it's just about a blank cheque and a signature. It's not. Governing rules have stopped that. Then there's the lack of revenue due to Covid. I mean, if this is true then what the hell was Conte expecting? We have a stadium debt to pay off, have no stadium sponsor as yet and have had no one through the turnstiles for over a year.

I'd be fine for us to be a midtable club if the ticket prices were in line.

However, we have the most expensive ticket prices in the league. In exchange I expect the likes of Conte and a big transfer budget.

The stadium project should not be funded at the expense of the football team. They have loans for it which are paid off over a long time. The £30m or so in annual debt repayments is dwarfed by the extra probably £100m a year when concerts/NFL etc are factored in compared to WHL.

I accept covid has facked the business model, but the ridiculous appointment of Jose was all on levy.

If we signed a cheap manager, sell Kane and finish 7th next season I will be voting with my feet.

People keep slamming Levy for messing up contract negotiations when we do not have a clue why they fall through.

Whilst Leicester have been successful, they are spending 83% of their turnover on wages, which is unsustainable and will catch them out soon.

We cannot allow a new manager to dictate how much the club can afford. Leeds we’re a PL club when Ridsdale took over and between him and O’Leary got Leeds into a financial nightmare, which nearly bankrupted the club. They had to sell Elland Road and then lease it back to survive.

As it was they ended up dropping divisions like a stone and it has taken many years to recover.

The first duty of Directors in any business is to the Company, due diligence has to be their first aim. We are probably the best run club in the PL, in terms of fiscal responsibility. Of course trophies are hugely important for us fans, but a love all else I want the club to operate in a responsible manner and continue to be around in many years to come.

Many football clubs in the PL are treading water and unfortunately one or two might end up going out of business in the next few years.

Conte might be good for us, but he still has to accept that he won’t have the money he had at Chelsea. Interesting that Inter whilst winning Serie A are in financial trouble and will have to sell of a number of stars to continue trading.

There’s no question Conte is a good manager but I can’t think of a more inappropriate guy to work for Levy (other than Jose !!!!!). Both incredibly stubborn and both total diva’s in their own way.

If Levy doesn’t harbour the ambitions of a top club which clearly he doesn’t judging by the inept failings to produce any sort of winning formula on the football field, then how about he cuts our ticket prices in half. We pay premium prices for watching s** most sesson bar a couple of decent Pochettino seasons, yet even then we won sweet FA. Levy has it in his mind as do ENIC that we are some super power, yet we act like Wigan Athletic in the transfer market. It could all of been so different had Abramovich took over Spurs now we are left in the leech with bald penny pinching to** pot and his saggy balled silent partner Joe Lewis, whilst we have to watch the likes of Chelsea winning trophies most seasons. If you don’t want to act like a huge club Levy, then stop mugging off us Spurs supporters you pr***. If you are going to sign up Conte, then sign up and stop messing around.
