Conte apparently is having second thoughts based on the level of investment Levy is willing to put in. Quite honestly, I think Levy is right to stand firm. We can't just get a manager in to bankrupt us. This is the warning sign about getting a manager in like Conte and why we should have gone for Poch or ETH all along. We need a manager that can work within the financial structures of the club. It's all very well saying "put your money where your mouth is" but there are rules that stop that. Lewis can't just throw in a billion. FFP rules have tightened in the last 5 years or so.
Conte is not the right man for us. I'm surprised so many thought he was.

Because I’m fed up of achieving nothing with him at the helm. He provides no backing on the field properly and never has done. He has never created a winning formula like all the other top clubs owners do, yet he seems to shove Spurs on this pedestal as a super power, if so then show it and stop mugging Spurs fans off with your over inflated prices. It’s people like you that let him get away with it just because he bought a shiny stadium. Wake up Sandy, the club have achieved nothing under this lot. Everything is steered towards profit. It is gobsmacking that there are still plenty of Levyista`s and ENIC fan boys out there, you would think after 20 years of abject failure, they would be starting to see ENIC for what they really are, which is a group of accountants and property developers, with a sole ambition to make Tottenham Hotspur Football Club a profit making enterprise.
They have no real desire to win silverware at the expense of profit, and any silverware that may come along, would be seen as a bonus, not a necessity.
I have no idea why people continue to defend these parasites, this should be a football club, not a tool used to line the pockets of the owners.
I am really not too bothered who the new manager is, because whoever it is will fail under ENIC`s lack of ambition.

That’s the latest mate. Thousands have refused to renew their season tickets. I don’t blame them one bit either. If the club can’t even get their act together with a manager and are pondering over one of the best managers out there, then I literally got no time for this lot under this regime and I’m sure a lot of supporters will agree with me too

We need a top class DoF so badly. This is something Poch would also need to accept or whoever took over as coach. Transfer market is far too complex to be coaching a team and involved in all aspects of player movements

Levy needs to focus on his strengths which is commercial deals. We still don't have naming rights..etc. he loves micromanaging. This attitude simply won't work for a top class manager.

Because I’m fed up of achieving nothing with him at the helm. He provides no backing on the field properly and never has done. He has never created a winning formula like all the other top clubs owners do, yet he seems to shove Spurs on this pedestal as a super power, if so then show it and stop mugging Spurs fans off with your over inflated prices. It’s people like you that let him get away with it just because he bought a shiny stadium. Wake up Sandy, the club have achieved nothing under this lot. Everything is steered towards profit. It’a all profit before glory, so much so that Levy sacked Mourinho days before the cup final in fear of Jose possibly winning the cup and costing more to fire him. Levy does not give a f** about winning on the fields and fans like you are so blinded by it. Mourinho should of been sacked the moment the Zagreb game finished, not 2 days before a final. It’s constant mistakes after mistakes after mistakes. I can’t wait until this bald f*** gets out the door and allows someone who harbours some ambition to push this club forward. This Conte will be added to another long list of Levy c. ock ups. If you want him, then offer him an attractive proposition. Stop p** around pretending we are this big club then.
