Jack grealish created the most chances in the Pl, bar mason mount and fernandes. Grealish plays for a worse team and was out for 3 months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Easy to create changes for a team like Villa when he does not have to face a low block every week. Also Mount and Fernandes play in midfield while Grealish plays out wide.

I kind of agree with OP. Still yet to see him put in a 90mins where he has dominated a game. He does have the odd flashes of skill but how many times is that in the final 3rd? Even when Villa beat us 7-2 it was more Barkley and McGinn who hurt us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
See that's exactly it. Good to see someone who agrees with me. He looks good in a poor team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And we saw how good Barkley was when grealish was out injured
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Barkley is another example of what i'm talking about. Was great at Everton, went to a big club in Chelsea and flopped. Just like Grealish will if he moves.

He has a massive influence on Villa's team, he doesn't necessarily have to dominate the game, but the influence he has on that team is massive, they would probably be in the Championship if they didn't have him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well you see i'd say they would be in The Championship if hawk eye worked. Proving my point that he's overrated.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So he's overrated because Villa should have been relegated because goalline technology didn't work in the game against Sheff United. Great logic.

Yes mate you're right. Teams attack Villa because they're average. He has plenty of space he wouldn't get at United or City.

But Grealish didn't play in that era so what relevance is that? He's a top player, back by stats.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zaha has top stats at Palace. Is he a top player?

grealish is a perfect example of a player that a few big teams already missed the boat on. every year his price tag goes up. im sure tottenham wishes they wrapped that deal up last year. he would walk into your team. not sure where you get this looks good in a bad team though, its easier to look good in a good team.

By that theory then all the creative players at bottom PL clubs would create the most chances because they have more space to play in because they don't face a low block every week. Funnily enough, these players are not top of this statistic. Why? Because they aren't that good.

If you'd actually watch Grealish play as opposed to just reading stats then you'd see his quality with the ball.

If you were able to put aside the fact you don't like me, you might see I have a good point even if you disagree. Grealish isn't this top player everyone thinks.

At Villa he has space to run into, he doesn't play against packed defences because teams attack Villa. Your lot have a better player, Raphinha, than Grealish.

Buendía created the most chances or was 2nd when Norwich were relegated. This season look at Pereira from West Brom who was very creative.

Well if he was this immense, top class player then how could Villa have been in a relegation fight in the first place? Surely he would've dragged them a lot further up the table with his 'world class' talents...

Actually, he is often doubled up on... One of the tougher aspects of being the most creative player in a "lesser" team.

Chelsea “confident of agreeing a deal for Haaland.”

Given our poor points tally this season and what can reasonably be assumed will be a massively improved Chelsea and Liverpool next season we need to get our backsides in gear.

Grealish would be a great start. Kane and a DM would be better.

I have seen Grealish play plenty of times. He's a talented player but he is not this top class footballer everyone thinks he is. He's decent but that's it. Massively overrated.

Yeah let's compare Grealish to two defensive midfielders. That makes sense.
