I really can't imagine Grealish leaving his hometown club, one that he has been very loyal to, for a club that hasn't won a major trophy in the best part of a decade.

Good fit for City though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
See another thing that nobody mentions is Grealish, if he stays at Villa, just lacks the ambition a top player has. By staying at Villa he's never winning anything is he?

There are some similarities to Bruno actually. Good point.

Villa are a huge club, his home town, he loves the club, and they are very ambitious, who is to say they won’t win anything?

Yes that;s him. Imagine leaving a successful club to join one that doesn't compete for major honours just for money. Vile.

Villa a huge club

I think the 20 odd years without winning a major trophy points to the fact he won't win anything at Villa....

Leicester win more than Utd. No reason why Villa can't.

So we don't compete for major honours yet we just achieved a final in Europe and always get to semis.

United are a step up from Villa.

We are one of the few clubs that could afford such a transfer.

United will pay him as much as anyone else could.

He would improve us far more than he would City or the other top clubs.

The addition of quality players increases our potential for success.

If City want him, they probably get him, but if they dont, then United remains a very attractive proposition.

Yeah you're okay at the second tier competitions but I suspect Jack wants a bit more than that if he were to leave.

Question: What can you find in Liverpool's Premier League trophy room?

Answer: An infinity mirror, to give off the illusion that there is more than the 1 trophy that you see

Grealish turned professional for Villa in 2011. Made his debut in 2013 in professional football. Didn't realise he was 8 when he made his professional debut....

Well done to Klopp for purchasing his sugar free UCL in 2019. What was it he spent? About 200 mill that summer on Becker, Keita, Fabinho and Shaqiri???
