More than likely.

It’ll be a £25k fine or something. As a club we kind of get to know the scales of punishment through experience.

Punishment should be no home fans and starting the final with a red card.

The way England's luck is going in this tournament I'm fully expecting the entire Italian first XI to be ruled out with Covid by Sunday, just to complete the full set of things that can go in their favour.

Last night it was pretty obvious to me that Denmark needed to win it in the 90 mins, as they'd nothing much off the bench vs England's options. Didn't deserve to get shafted by a nonsense ref/VAR decision like that though. Basically "clear & obvious" is there to allow enough "interpretation" to favour the big teams when they need it, as far as I can see.

He saved the penalty but now needs a +6 diopter in his right eye

Denmark didn’t have any attacking intent after the first goal, regardless of who was on the pitch. It was the equivalent of Arsenal Vs West Brom last night - arsenal getting a dubious winner but West Brom firmly setting up for a draw/penalties.

Denmark dived for their FK, then illegally blocked Pickfords view of the FK by making their own wall a fair distance, but walking right next to Englands wall before the ball was kicked. Gamesmanship you might call it, or cheating. The soft penalty against them was karma.

Any win will be massively tainted now. Yes the English will celebrate it but the rest of Europe will treat it like Marseille's Champions League win.

Achieved by foul means, no credit due.

Yeah they have the cheek to claim that they are the most likeable side and that they are winning over the rest of Europe with their 19th century football (with some diving thrown in). Not so sure about that.

Raheem Sterling dived, the first defender didn't make contact and Sterling was already diving when he made contact with the second defender's leg = Cheat

If the Italians cheat you on Sunday the English people celebrating Kane getting fouls that aren't fouls will be raging and the people on here calling England cheats will be delighted and suddenly won't care about cheating.

That's how it works. But we have 4 referees and VAR in place now so if players are still getting away with things then that's not on them it's on the officials.

Basically at the start of every football match there are 22 guys on the pitch trying to con and cheat the refs....the only way it will change is if people stop watching/buying the product...don't hold your breath

Once it went straight to VAR it was never going to be overturned as an “obvious mistake”.

I hate the way pundits and fans kind of admit it was a dive but justify it with 'we deserved it, we were playing better' that is just pash.

Guess he saw it as a pen..the guy that made contact was nowhere near the ball.he played the man...soft and stupid but still a penalty
