Oh dear, keeping Curran on with the new ball rather than giving it to Jimmy is proving costly.
Bumrah had an average of 2 with a best of 10* ffs
Its because hes giving Curran a bowl to justify his selection.. otherwise hes not a 4th seamer.
Valuable runs this, putting it beyond England unless it rains
You are bowling at the tail enders, Ffs bowl at the stumps

To be fair I don't mind Curran's selection, he brings a left arm variation and is a handy lower order bat and was a real difference maker in the series 3 years ago against India. In the absence of Stokes and Woakes, he's a good option.
However we needed to wrap things up and by not doing so, India are adding valuable runs and it's extra time for Sibley and Burns to think about batting.
This is where you need a spinner
Had to go running back to Jimmy to get the last wicket one man bowling unit

Robinson has got 4 wickets today
Why can't bowlers bowl at the stumps these days especially to tailenders
Curran got picked for his batting at 8..to protect the batting line up. because they are cack

Yay! Good catch. By Broad.
Superb catch.
Oh no, now we have to endure the batting
England need at least 300.. otherwise this game is gone.
Robison should have been picked 2 years ago. he looks a real talent. But they chose the wrong players as ever.
There will be a result in this game in my opinion. Hopefully get the rest of the day in. Tomorrow wont be a wash out and Sunday looks fine. England need 300+ or they will lose again

He doesn't often get to bowl long spells though, he often comes on for little bursts and is taken off. Whether it's because he picks up a wicket or because he goes for a few boundaries so Root takes him off. I personally think he's underused when he plays as he's got a knack for being a partnership breaker, he's rarely given sustained bowling spells of 6/7/8 overs like the other bowlers.
He's not a test 6 and I can't see him ever batting that high, he's a capable test 8 though which means you can pick him as a 4th seamer when Stokes isn't available.
India be pleased they won't have to bat again.

Agree he probably should have been, although our bowling hasn't really been a problem area for us, well our seam bowling anyway.
Can't see an early wicket here

I wish we did have to endure it, unfortunately it's more of a general suffering rather than an endurance exercise.
