This game is done. All about the batting in this match, letting us down big time. Batting seems to be our weakness now, when it was out biggest strength. Some batters need to have a look at themselves and work on there game a little.

Salt and Malan probably should have played this series although replacing them with Bairstow and Root is probably about a good a pair as we could have replaced them with.

Considering the form that both were in, a return of 56 runs from them across a shared 6 innings is terrible. Against a good attack on a deck that's not completely flat, it's been a poor return from the Yorkshire duo, especially Root, who is usually the anchor of this team.
