Did anyone take the Sun Seriously?

City, United, and Chelsea want Haaland. Younger, not injury prone, and won't cost as much as Kane. The wages probably be similar, and he could end up playing close to ten years.

Kane can look forward to more challenging for top 4 and being a nearly man. But at least he'd be a hero at Spurs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, but there is only 1 of Haaland so what do the other 2 clubs do
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have Greenwood.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Which basically means, that like us you are settling for not competing for the top trophies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane wasn't anywhere near Greenwood's level at the same age. We also have Cavani and added Sancho.

No ones paying 160m for Kane at 28, the same next year 100m for a 29 year old. You will have the Kane for another 3 years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I've said....Kane should have moved a year or two ago.

Since when was he a Striker Ted
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do they need one now?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don’t know, but your point was they don’t need Kane as they have Sancho - how does that work?

Do we not need a replacement for Kane if he goes because we are getting Gollini?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Point is united have completed their dealings with the Sancho deal. They are happy if they keep Pogba.
Finito...no looking at Kane.
Got it now?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No because the original point was that United want Haaland instead - try and keep up Ted

So are United in for Haaland or not? And if Haaland goes to Chelsea then who do the 2 Manchester clubs buy.

My point was very simple, Currently claimed that United, City and Chelsea want Haaland, he is only one person, they are 3 separate clubs. Therefore I asked what do the other 2 clubs do - it’s called supply and demand

----------------------------------------------------------------------

My guess is that United will woefully underperform again this year, Ole will get the old tic tac and the new manager will want a marquee name. We will rinse Hnited of £120m next summer
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet I have more confidence that we will finish above spurs and in the top 4. We weren't even expected to finish top four 2 seasons ago. We were expected to finish 4th last season. Each year we improved on the previous. Spurs has regressed.

And I answered. United had tested the waters. Haaland's dad and agent are a stumbling block. On top of that we have our own talent in Greenwood. So rather than get into a bidding war and deal with Raiola, Greenwood is being primed for CF.

Yes we have regressed and we’re all very disappointed. Hopefully this season we will start to recover.

United also are currently much better than Spurs.

However, United are miles off City and Chelsea and possibly Liverpool if they rediscover their form. You won’t be winning any league or European titles next year, but could potentially win a domestic cup or Europa if you finish 3rd again

The reason Kane wants out is that 1. Spurs are no where near winning anything. 2. Levy lied to him and Poch about investing in the side. 3. He does not have time for another rebuild to get into top 4 as the only aim when he wants to win the PL (definitely City are the team for that).

The only difference between Penited and Spurs is Penited`s ability to win / cheat penalties, and `benefit of doubt` from the officials.

Ole may not win the title for United, but who ever replaces him comes into it better than he found it. Years of Moyes, Van Gaal and then Jose and Woodward want to be the next Galacticos really messed up United. That's been sorted out. People really underestimate the job Ole has done at United.

City are playing a dangerous game here. They tapped him up clearly which resulted in Kane name checking City in that Neville interview. He was clearly tapped him during our season. They are trying their hardest to make Kane throw a strop and cause a scene. We all know Kane isn’t going to do this. But, City are trying to get him as cheap as possible which won’t happen. Put up City you bunch of blue moon c** or shut up!!!! If you don’t want to pay 160 mil, then no problem. Go and buy Danny Ings, you can get him for 10x less.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Clearly tapped up
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He name checked City. He was 100% tapped up. Grow up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So you're saying City illegally made contact with him? Nothing to do with City contacting Spurs officially last year and Kane being asked directly about City when name dropping them.
You've lost it Don. A month ago he was 100% leaving. Then Nuno did his press conference said nothing aside from the usual patter of saying "he's our player" and that meant he's 100% staying. Now he's been tapped up
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have always said he’s been tapped up you muppet. Check my previous comments. I only responded to that sun article thinking there might be some truth in it, but have since assessed the situation and seem some respectable journalists saying Spurs are adamant they want to keep Kane. You seem to think you know exactly what is going on at spurs and you haven’t got a scooby. Fact of the matter is, City have tried to unsettle Kane which means he’s been tapped up.

City aren’t in a hurry and neither are Spurs, only Kane seemingly, but he has 3 years left and therefore very little power.

£150m plus and he goes, otherwise he will be banging them in for us next season to ensure another club wants him the following summer. Win win for us

posted on 24/7/21

£ity absolutely have tapped up Kane, they did the same with Walker, the same with Sterling, the same with Mahrez etc etc.

They are like Ch£lsea, a vulgar and disgusting football club, that since being bought by billionaires with lost of money to launder, thinks money can buy them anything.

They then have the audacity to come along and think they can unsettle the England captain, PL golden boot winner, top assister, one of the top CF`s in the world and Spurs talisman etc by making noises about derisory offers.

They can pay up what we consider acceptable, or fack off.

The are nothing but a small soft cocckk on vyagra

That would mean Kane at Spurs next season unless Poch fancies being reunited with him at PSG should they sell Mbappé.

City aren’t in a hurry and neither are Spurs, only Kane seemingly, but he has 3 years left and therefore very little power.

£150m plus and he goes, otherwise he will be banging them in for us next season to ensure another club wants him the following summer. Win win for us

Have PSG shown interest? And how long will Poch last at PSG?

The reason Kane wants out is that 1. Spurs are no where near winning anything. 2. Levy lied to him and Poch about investing in the side. 3. He does not have time for another rebuild to get into top 4 as the only aim when he wants to win the PL (definitely City are the team for that).

I don’t know what you think we are arguing about, as I agree with all of those points. My argument with Ted is that he will be sold for £150m plus, not a measly £100m

The only way he can get his move may be he kicks up a fuss. I don't think that will happen.

If City end up with Haaland, what would that mean for Kane? City seem happy to wait as they have enough attacking talent there.

He signed a new contract yesterday.

If Mbappé goes, who do PSG sign. There are a finite amount of world class strikers in the world, Kane is right up there and anything less than £150m will see him scoring goals in the Premier League for Spurs next season.

Good day
