But please I only want Culer to answer as he is the smartest and most articulate poster on this site
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not that smart, it’s taken him more than 3 months to read rashford’s book! Prove us wrong culer!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not buying it until I've read the review
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same with me, heard it’s really motivational but need culer’s analytical and critical thinking mind to devour it first and knock up a review for us, before I’ll take the plunge.

He did promise one too.

I was rather hoping he’d outline how to write it off as a tax deduction in his review.

Thus wierd fixation on slating clubs with ambition is exactly why owners like Kroenke and The Glazers cab reign supreme in football.

Why do fans take pride in trying to save their owners money?

He also has business interests that take up his time, I believe he’s a property owner, has a some on old Kent road and park lane, and a get out of jail free card.

£160m for a player that turns 29 on his birthday? Madness

posted on 1/8/21

One of these articles written to try make early excuses. I can smell it a mile away. I don't care who city buy, Manchester United now must compete. It is not like we have spent change!!

Why? Their owner could find that sort of money down the back of his sofa.

If City buy both of them then it’s fraudulent. There’s no way they can spend that kind of money during covid, so if they do then they’re literally committing fraud.

I am intrigued by city

Aside from when they first got funded and over spent on some average players to start bridging the gap they by and large haven’t been crazy spenders on individual players

If these rumors are true and they’re about to spend 260m on 2 seems like quite the break from their model

0, no and no to the questions in the op.

We can sign one of them easily, particularly given our net this season won’t be much at all if we do given sales banked already. To sign the second, think we’ll need to get a couple more off our books though.

They don’t need five £50m players, I guess. It was only a matter of time before they broke the transfer record. Plus they’ve finally got an academy player in the squad that has saved them spending loads on another squad player.

I remember when Utd bought Veron and RVN and most thought the title would be a cake walk, even predicting how many times Utd would score 5 in the 2001-02 season. Arsenal of course won the double.

Dwight, yeah it is a bit intriguing. I personally don’t think anything will happen with Kane, but the Grealish situation does seem genuine.

I do think that football as a whole isn’t too far off £100m plus transfers being the norm however. 10-15 years ago, £30m to £40m was seen as a substantial signing. Now £30m to £40m signings are being made regularly by clubs that are not even regarded (currently) as elite clubs.

Such signings these days are even becoming run of the mill.

I wonder if you may offer Bernardo Silva to Spurs in part exchange for Kane. Don't think he'll start much next season if and when you sign Grealish. And he'd walk into the Spurs team, no question.
