Which is fine but the way you were chatting made it sound like you were really good or something.

Anyway, bookies have us ahead of you and I'm inclined to agree.

And you play 2 at the back not 3

What part of first XI do you not get lol

VVD Xl
Fabinho Xl
Thiago Xl
Henderson Xl
All out with long term injuries at the same time.

Bang on Xl players

Gomez and Matip it’s arguable who is actually Virgil’s partner. Same can be said with Jota and firmino.

Once again

THE XI FROM YOUR TITLE WINNING SEASON

and Henderson’s major injury happened after you surrendered the title, every team misses players here and there during the season.

His 4 months missed happened after you gave up

Makes sense they had you as favorites last season and Leicester at 5000/1

Clearly the oracle of outcomes

If winning 8 out of our last 10 games is giving up then yer, we gave up!

They do tend to know what they're on about and saying otherwise whilst listing out lying results makes you look a bit silly imo.

Your spin schtick isn't really working, at all.

We drew the other 2 by the way.

You waived your title defense

You suddenly put together a run when other teams had other priorities or were on holidays

If you want to think differently be my guest. Just look at those above you before that last 10 schedule and what they had to play for and yours.

If you can’t piece that together then lord help you.

And @Robin the bookies have picked the winner of the PL 33% of the time during the history of the PL.

When you consider for a lot of the PL it was a 2 horse race I’d say their guess is as good as yours as mine

Yeah second favourites do come in, not often the 4th favourite does though.

I think you're that biased it's a bit deluded but there we go.

We didn’t waive anything, we simply weren’t good enough to defend it and I personally haven’t said anything to the contrary.

We simply had more than a couple of injuries to Xl players which had an effect on our season.

Judging by comments it should be City and United about twenty points ahead of the field.

Bernardo and £120m seems fair

Bernardo and £159 million seems much fairer.

Funniest thing about Liverpool’s excuses is that as they went into their pathetic white flag waving January record setting implosion, no one in the PL had more injuries to first team players than United.

9 first team players were injured as United struggled to hold on to top.

Liverpool had 6 out at the same time while setting a record for their most consecutive home losses.

But I mean, you know, only Liverpool had injuries last season.

Luke Shaw, Alex Telles, Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, David de Gea, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof all out at once.

So just both left backs, first choice GK, 2 first choice CMs, 2 first choice forwards, first choice and back up CBs

Now point me to a period when you had no Allison, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Salah, Mane, VVD, Matip at the same time?

Bet you can’t ha

A) Despite getting stronger, I still think both Liverpool and Chelsea are close to City and it's by no means a given. United are probably just a little further behind, but improving.

B) That's already been done with the 100 points tally as well as retaining the title the season after with another massive points tally. But I expect this season will be closer although it may be 90 points necessary this time around.

C) I don't agree with this terminology about being a cheque book manager, if you have the resources, you should be allowed to spend it to the capacity on the players you want. There is also the expectation with any big signings and you have to make sure you get it right, the bigger the price, the bigger the risk.
