I think the majority of us completely understand Kane’s situation and get why he would want to leave
What’s annoying is it appears he is acting unprofessionally to engineer a move away at a price he wants to set for City
It comes across as a tad arrogant
I think he has been told he can go! But for the money we want ! Not the money he and City want to pay!
He is the best centre forward in the world (my opinion) so we deserve a huge amount of money
When Kane said he wanted to leave a few months ago everyone agreed that it was fair enough
It's only him skipping training that has annoyed people

In terms of it being unprofessional, you cannot compare football to normal professions.
Looking at it from Kane's point of view, would you want to train and potentially get injured, ruining your chances of a move?
If he had been told he can go, why bother training with us? Completely pointless.

The length of contract was down to Levy wanting to keep his sale price high.
If he turns up today, he’s not really strengthening his case to go.

His hand has been forced seemingly. The next step will be a transfer request in the next week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Makes no difference. If Kane truly wants out, he can buy out his contract. If Spurs don’t get the other they request, he simply isn’t going anywhere.
Agree with points being made here, but do agree with Levy to seek the price HE and the club thinks Kane is worth.
Whilst I have no real problem with Kane wanting away, he has no right to "force" the issue knowing full well this stance is the same as telling Levy to give him away at a price that suits City.
Why should the club that is single handedly ruining the game in this country for everyone else, get any sort of freebie.
The other irritation here is the media and their ridiculous "let's make up all sorts of things" stance.
The story is obviously dismantling Spurs more and more as every day goes by, and these vultures just see it as a "sell papers" opportunity.
if we won the fa cup and the league cup kane wouldnt want to stay anyway. he is probably after CL and league.. and we are nowhere near either of those.
fa cup and league cup are within grasp every year if we actually start turning up for semi finals and finals
If ENIC/Levy had any ambition Conte would be our manager and we would have addressed the weaknesses in our squad.
Instead we have a manager sacked by Wolves, sold our best defender, signed a young winger, and our best player is on strike.
It's laughable how bad a job our hierachy have done over the last few years.
Am really happy for Kane to leave but not in the way it’s being engineered. Genuinely hoping he leaves. Not the end of the world.
Get good money and invest in the team. Pool did the same recently , invested wisely and moved forward and ended up winning the league and CL.
To ManCity, please pay up and let’s move on from this saga. Embarrassing my club.

if he hands in a transfer request we can reject it until them sand dogs come up with the required fee. Simple.
My takeaway from all of this is don't let your brother be your agent. As naïve or hopeful as Kane was when he signed his big contract, his agent should have negotiated clauses to leave based on different scenarios...he didn't do that and now he's stuck.
I don't blame Kane for his tactics, he's desperate and this is his only option to get what he wants. I'm happy for him to leave if that's his wish, he's given us a lot and he wants to win trophies BUT I also don't expect Levy to sell him for pennies on the dime just because Kane wants out. A sensible offer close to £150million is the only way this gets resolved.
Either way we've seen the last of him in a Spurs shirt and I can see City shedding a load of players to free up the cash to buy him on deadline day.
Realistically, what is a fair price for him?
£150m has been banded about and it's a nice round figure, but £130m for example is hardly peanuts!
There was a very good article in the Athletic a year ago about transfers and how much of it is around narrative with more people involved than people think.
Handing a transfer request was one thing they spoke about. It’s basically meaningless and most of the time, it’s something the club that’s selling the player asks them to do so they can push the “our hands were tied, he wanted out” narrative.

I'd love to know how much the club has fined Kane for yesterday's no show. He should be done for unpaid leave for everyday he doesn't turn up. I wonder if he would then get an additional fine on top? Could be a nice little earner, I'm sure that hasn't escaped Levy's attention.
