Am I reading right that we're after a 29 year old CF. That does stink of desperation.

Gibbs White has signed a new contract through to 2024 and moved on a season long loan to Sheffield United.

That's 8 out and 5 in so far then.
Wolves still can’t score. U21s drew 0-0 in the Papa John’s Trophy at Wigan. The game then went straight to a penalty shoot out which Wolves won 4-2
Feel for Bruno been hung out to dry with an 18 man squad ffs

Yeah, massively let down.
All that is missing is Amiga telling us what a great window it was yet again
Not that I really wanted Moore but the fact we can't scratch 12m together for either him or kamara is insane
Dunno how you can go into the last day of a window and not even be aware of what players are keen or not.
Literally sounds like we were calling around Europe and just asking random players and clubs if they fancied it.
We have no leadership at the top Jeff isn't a football person totally clueless and Scott sellars well
I'm picking my ball up and feck in off home

Yeah, it is a bizarre set up we have going on. Jeff Shi is basically doing it all isn't he? A guy that had nothing to do with football a few years ago.
All the gear and no idea
Ramp the prices of everything up and deliver this nonsense
I know bigger clubs than Wolves are guilty of this too but scratching around making desperate offers at 8pm on deadline day is shambolic when you have obvious issues to address in your squad. Issues which should have been addressed much earlier in the window. In fact the issues have been compounded and we're actually weaker if anything than we were in midfield than at the end of last season. This is just like pre Fosun wolves, you wonder whether little Jeff is getting counsel from big Jez theses days.
In 20/21 we spent £74m in the transfer market and got in £71m
In 21/22 we have spent £24m and got in £28m
Transfer Profit over the two seasons £1m
Doesn't feel like there was much of a strategy there does it - our targets were all over the place and even when they were in similar positions seem to be totally different types of players.
I am really concerned about what it means for the ownership of the club. I wasn't even expecting knockout marquee signings but how can they not see we need some quality reinforcement in the middle. And it's not like players aren't available, maitland niles, Ross barkley both looked to be possibilities for someone, good players, would have added something different. You're telling me we couldn't have brought anyone in that would have improved the squad and isn't ridiculously overpriced.
It's just all bowlox
We don't need loads but even stevie wonder can see we need 3 players minimum
It's really amateurish from the club too to have made it so obvious they've committed to Lage to bringing in players. And/or he's been really niaive/smart in talking about needing three or four quality signings. On the one hand it makes him look like a bit of a mug - promised players and given nothing. On the other hand it's ensured the finger of blame for any failings this season goes straight to fosun.
We quickly pushed Sondergaard out the door to finish things off.
Smaller squad now than under Nuno ffs
Biggest signings of the day for us - Neves is still ours, Traore is still ours, best bit of business in the window I'd say.

Not really a transfer window more a catflap
We won't even have a full bench when the afcon happens 😂😂😂😂

Disagree strongly. We clearly had to sell to strengthen, should have moved Traore on, we have plenty in that department and could hardly score any less with or without him.
Sell him and we may be sitting here with Sanches and Caleta-Car tonight, I know what I would rather have.
It's not even like the best of our youth players are tearing up trees and we think it's a good route into the team
