From what I read he wanted a move to City but Pepe wouldn't pay the 25,000 transfer fee but United of course will pay whatever necessary. there seems to be no limit to their spending power.

Ronaldo certainly won't be playing Sunday in any capacity. Not sure this is the best move for him or United to be honest. A hell of a lot of money and he will be expecting titles which he won't get at Utd.

I dunno, they've spent well this summer, they might just have the squad to make it a 4 way title chase this season.

Apparently coupled with the 25,000 transfer fee that Juventus were demanding from City, Ronnie was asking for £510,000 per week. He obviously thinks that as he gets older he's worth more. I'll bet Pepe said forget it, he's taking the pizz. And OGS would be wetting himself thinking what a good deal it was

Nope don't see him playing on Sunday because a. He hasn't agreed personal terms yet. b. He hasn't had a medical. c. He's not match fit.

And d. he is shat scared of facing the Wolves

I don’t think there’s any doubt that Ronaldo is well past his peak so the amount he costs could be argued to be excessive. Having said that he was top scorer in Serie A last season with 29. That’s 5 goals more than the second highest scorer Lukaku, who has just signed for Chelsea for £97.5m

Be very interesting to see how many league goals Ronaldo gets this season. My bet is about 15, which ain't bad - I wish our 2nd choice striker would get that many.

Hwang Hee-Chan seems to be on the way. Nicknamed the bull in his native South Korea because of his surname and style of play. Done well at Salzburg, Hamburg and Leipzig and at 25 can land as a first team contender

We remain closely linked to defenders Botman and Caleta-Car. Can’t imagine we would sign both but hopefully we can get one over the line. Lille have turned down Wolves first offer for Botman but the door isn’t closed and the player has indicated he wants to play in the Premier League

At last it seems like things are happening, but we need to get a move on.
