We need to look at our recruitment.
Its shat. Levy would rather get a manager on a free than pay a buyout for a decent manager that can make the team better than the sum of its parts.
It’s tough to label players duds when they played under Jose. The right manager can make most those players look like money well spent, except for Sanchez - that was a shocker

This essentially covered each year by the 2 NFL games, Boxing, Rugby and concerts - it’s why they went with the flip pitch.
This summers issue was we took ages to get a new manager, hired one that convinced nobody and then dawdled on Kane all window
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh really ?
So how many NFL games and concerts and boxing matches have been held in the past two years?
For gods sake just think! The stadium still needs paying for!

It’s called borrowing against future income - we have NFL games and boxing in the next month which is going to massively ease financial burdens - why couldn’t we use that in the summer with the knowledge of full fans being back as well.

Spurs have spent about £160,000,000 in the past three windows haven't they?
That's one hell of a shoe string.

Not to mention a stadium the value of which is more than some third world countries that they can't fill adequately.
Somehow I don't see it was built to win the European conference League...awful business model, supercar chassis with a Ford fiesta engine in it

It isn't an awful business model at all. It is actually a great business model if the business is increasing the value of the club. If the business model is actual football, then it's obviously not working out.

Yeah, the actual attendance's really won't be the be all and end all in terms of the revenue that stadium brings. The NFL deal, concerts, boxing fights and other stuff along with a sponsorship deal that is likely to be done in the next couple of years will bring in enough to justify the building of it even without the attendances. Even if they only have 50,000 there every game this season, it means nothing in the grand scheme of things.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, the NFL tickets are like gold dust, the boxing will sell out as will concerts. The rugby probably won’t but o doubt that one dents revenue too much anyway.
Our games attendances will be lower due to Europa conference as Sunday games are just a ball ache. It’s fine if it’s a Man United or Arsenal but when it’s Watford or Brentford it’s not as alluring.
The bottom line though is that if Levy wants Champions league revenue then we need to build a squad capable of that. Instead we let 3 attacking players in Bale, Vinícius and Lamela go and replaced them with 1 Spain under 21 international

point scoring on attendance is proper lame though, especially as empty seats, like you say, are pretty understandable in certain comps and you also have variety of corporates and ST allocation at different clubs.
