Cresswell not starting this evening and not on the bench, assumes he will be starting tomorrow. Probably on the rhs of a CB pairing with Cooper.
He plays better on the left hand side but he is naturally right footed and I think better able to adapt his game than Coops is.
That said, Cooper is excellent in bringing others through. I am sure he will mentor Cresser throughout.
Come on Charlie.
Meslier, Shackleton, Ayling, Copper, Firpo, Phillips, Dallas, Klich, James, Rodrigo, Raphinha
Is that who you would pick or do you know that’s the side we are playing?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s a good side all things considered.
Happy to see Rodrigo up front. Would be nice if he can reproduce the form he showed back end of last season.
Would prefer to see Dallas at RB & Shackleton at 8. Dallas doesn’t seem capable of taking enough touches to play in the middle at the moment.
Slight shame not to see Cresswell get a start. I know he wants to go on loan and wants to play first team football.
Should be plenty of attacking threat in that side. Could be a very high scoring game.
Raph playing is a big plus. He can conjure up something out of nothing. I want to see what Raph, Klich and Rod can do to unlock the Hammers defense.
Tough game, but we have to start our winning streak
somewhere(erm),so I’ll say 2-1 Leeds.
Not feeling good about this one. They just have too much quality and we have too many of our top players out injured. Coops and Ayling will not cope with their speed and movement around the box, and I suspect Bowen and Benrahma will cause havoc with their close control and precise deliveries. 3 - 0 to West Ham.
I'll be happy with a point today given the players that are missing. They have a good squad and are pretty much at full strength.
For me our season will be defined by the four league fixtures that follow today's match, Watford (H), Southampton (A), Wolves (H) and Norwich (A). Anything less than 8 points from these will be worrying indeed.
Same for me Sgt.
A point today would be a massive achievement.
If we lose, it won't be a surprise. The injuries are
mounting so fast. If we win, then damn, brilliant.
Hoping for the latter.
No Ayling, Cresswell starts
Let's hope everyone playing and on the bench are up for it big time today - this is another must-not-lose game. Agree with Sgt Wilko that the fixtures that follow will be critical to the season's development. West Ham are a top side that did us twice last year - Moyes knows what he's doing.
GOOD LUCK CHARLIE CRESSWELL AND COME ON LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDS!!
You have got this one Leeds fans...we are due an away defeat.
Hopefully, one goal margin 👍

I'd love that to be the case, but I'm hoping rather than expecting.
It's good to see you progressing because you are always good to watch. I go back to the Trevor Brooking era, so I do have a soft spot for West Ham.
Afternoon All
Gonna nick this
Come Onnnnnnnnnnnnnn Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds!!!

Afternoon all.
optimism not too common place today against a very decent west ham defence.
Would gladly take a draw now but you just never know and our season is due to kick off sometime.
Hopefully it will be today.
