I had never heard of Mason Mount until this morning and heard he has been nominated for the Ballon D'Or. I assume he has been banging them in for whoever he plays for this season?

Greenwood imo. He's good, but definitely overrated.

I'd hope that is Dean Henderson.
The most overrated player in the league for me is Luke Shaw. Had a very good season last season, but there are comments of him being world class, best LB in the world football etc that I've seen which just isn't the case.
Soyuncu was pretty highly rated for a time, but I think he is pretty dogshiiit. His ratings have dropped a bit though, I think.
Hojberg, for me, is just a clogger. Really don't like him as a player, but seems to be bigged up all the time.
Adama Traore, the Wolves one, is really a poor player (imo). He is a long way off the level of someone like ASM.
Another Leicester player, James Maddison, is far more hyped than he deserves to be. When Arsenal were linked with him for big money it was a big worry. Harvey Barnes is a better player than him.
Ruben Neves, Mason Mount, Thomas Soucek, Richarlison, Patrick Bamford, and Lewis Dunk are others I think get more praise than they deserve.
Weird assessment of Tierney. He's been one of Arsenal's best, most reliable, players - I'm always happy to see him on the team sheet.
I'm guessing you've only really seen him in that Chelsea game when the entire team were pretty crap.
Van Dijk.
Very good player and one of the best in the current era when it comes to central defenders. He'd be in good company with the likes of Rio, Terry, Vidic, Stam, Carvalho, Adams, Kompany etc... but he's not better than them.
He merely stands out more in the present as the level of CB isn't as strong as a whole.

This. I see generational talent trotted out. He's really not.
Luke Shaw seems to have been elevated to world class status simply for being solid defensively.
I think Manchester Pride is talking about the youngsters who use phrases like "clear" when talking about VvD in comparison to the others listed. The sort of people you can't really have a good chat with because they talk like a US sport fan rather than a football fan.

I'm not sure. I think that Greenwood will go on to the very highest level. He is way above what Rashford was at that age and has everything needed to be a world class striker. The issue he'll have is actually getting a run of games as a number 9 to establish himself. I think he's exceptional in the box though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This, Compared to Rashford hes underrated.

Which category world class?
Usually its Harry Kane, and since nobody would pay the price that matched the overrated hype and he threw a strop at Spurs its just all the commentators talk about when city or kanes playing. So probably still is Kane.
Bruno Penandez. Literally does nothing majority of games

I don't think he'll be any better than Fowler, in fact they're very similar in some ways, and as much as I love God I would not class him as a generational talent.
Long way to go for Greenwood, only 12 months ago he was in terrible form.
