I think that I have made my feelings known so I have nothing further to say.

We made over 100 comments. That's the only positive. It will be interesting to read the post-match comments from our posters who have been to the game.

Pasty, I'm signing off for a while whilst I prepare dinner. I'll be back soon.

Is there any point in saying enjoy the rest of your week-end?

A wake up call for me. I don't like evatt going on like we are the best side in the league getting beat 1-0 at Sheffield, Sunderland, Cambridge. Bolton were totally outplayed from start to finish. Need to learn this is a tough league to compete in and have to do a lot lot better. A positive we usually bounce back and we have our Tuesday night record to defend.

Kind of glad what I was waiting in for never happened in time to go.

Following it by other means probably took some gloss off what sounded like a bad performance.

Saw we had 60% possession. Having all the ball but gifting the opposition all the shots is absolutely unacceptable in any game.

Luckily the away game against the league leaders will be available to watch on Ifollow. Or maybe I'll save a 10er and watch the champions league instead.

The possession stats came from the usual sideways and backwards passes. Wigan just waited for the mistakes and picked us off. Evatt serves a one match touchline ban for his 4th booking of the season. Mouth.

Think champs league on telly and Plymouth on the radio. Will watch the full match for free after if it's anything like Charlton away. Ifollow coverage isn't worth the money.

Wigan out thought us today, but again we did not play badly IMO. We are a promoted team faced with unrealistic expectations from some support.
Today we were one dimensional, and far too predictable, so a good Wigan team simply sat back and waited for us to may mistakes knowing full we are poor in the final 3rd. That will change when we get the players capable of playing in two dimensions.
Too many times Doyle and Bak were denied obvious over the top balls, because it’s not our style….that is a second dimension and not beyond the wit of man.
IE will get this right.
As for the idiots …that included McLean who in sighted the whole ugly incidents , let’s hope they get lifetime bans.

The ref looked to take the players off at one stage but the Wigan player just wanted to get on with it and take the corner.

It's an ongoing project to me. Brilliant to get promoted first time but coming up to a tougher league with quite a few sides in the premier league not long ago. I think evatt needs to button it. Had the stuff with crellin last season, this season giving the Wigan teamtalk with we're the best side in the league. Maybe doing it to raise his profile I don't know.

Early days but possible sanctions for the trouble today. Basically too many idiots at the game. Seen them at Accrington away, similar at the ground last season when asked not to turn up. Wigan fans no better.

Wilf
I was looking forward to match report from another poster, the more the merrier.
There should be a message box below your submission when you click send if the filter caught a word.
If you then click the preview button rather than send, you should see a red invalid comment box showing a word or words from the automatic banned word list you can then edit your post or use your imagination to work around it.
It caught me during the match when I ended up using t*t for tat rather than the correct spelling. There are some odd ones in the banned word list which catch everybody out every so often.

No time to dwell on that one yesterday.
A rest day today, the team coach is being readied for Plymouth its a long way IE doesn't like those long coach trips.
Jones is resting his fractured fibula at home and with a few knocks to confidences we'll be having a team sheet shuffle on Tuesday night.

We were unravelled like an old knitted jumper that had holes in it.

Dreadful defending and apart from the shot that hit the crossbar, we were toothless in attack.

All we can do is see what Evatt does to fix the problems. For a start, he could reinstate Baps and see how the pans out. Doyle needs a rest and we need a decent striker.

Kieran Lee has a sore glute.
I had to look that one up. In proper speak that's a sore bum.

Did somebody say it couldn't get any worse, anybody who is fit please board the bus. Should we switch to a minibus ?

We have a squad built to cover for injury. Unfortunately brockbank as cover for Jones out for a few weeks looks destroyed of any confidence in himself. Isgrove as a makeshift full back? Would expect baptiste to come in for Santos. Gordon has been doing fine as replacement for John who is picking up too many injuries. Sarcevic playing with an ankle injury? Why is he on the pitch then? Pick thomason who at least looked up to it yesterday. Try delfounso up top instead of Doyle. None of this is perfect but I would rather fresh players not carrying knocks being on the pitch than unfit or out of form players.

Hi Wilf, It's not something that usually happens although certain words will trigger it to happen. Sometimes quite innocent words are misinterpreted. It has happened to me once or twice and I have had to go through the text to see if I can determine the problem word.

It's worthwhile just taking a look and see if any word could have a double meaning.

I won't ask if you enjoyed the game as there wasn't anything to cheer about. The whole proceedings from our teams lack of anything close to what we were expecting, to the idiots from both sides showing that we have not rid ourselves of the small violent element of supporters that we have within our club and Wigan also have.

Hopefully, they will be identified and banned from attending further games. We can do without them.

There's one I posted further up the thread for Wilf which I hope will explain it.

I will try again , we lost this one because Wigan exploited a weakness in our defence. Johnson had a nightmare against Wyke , I don`t think he won one dual. It was then a case of being light in midfield because they threw numbers forward to retrieve the second ball. We missed Lee yesterday and it sounds like he could be out for a couple of games ?
I don`t think Evatt gave Brockbank a chance by putting him in against very physical opponents with no cover from the wing defensively . If he had played Isgrove I am sure it would have been a different story.
As usual Afolayan was superb but he had no protection from the Ref at anytime in the match.
That`s my twopenneth for what its worth - on to the next match
