Wasn't he a championship level manager before United (Cardiff, Molde) ? He's spent a fortune and done nothing with it. He's proved he's tactically inept at the highest level so I'd guess he'll go back from where he came. I cant see him getting another PL job. Lets be honest... He was a great sub who scored some important goals in the clubs history. He seems like a very nice bloke who clearly loves the club but he was a bizarre appointment

I always knew you were daft, but Ole isn't. He's on ten£million à year here, and was probably on a hundred thousand a year in Molde
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry, that's for Black Country

He should manage a mid table club in Germany/ Portugal or France. He'd do a good job there.

Hopefully the club Activia-te the clause where he can be sacked soon

I actually don't think Ole is a terrible manager.

I think he'd do OK at a mid to lower PL team (like a Hughes, Bruce, Pulis etc) as he wouldn't be expected as much to try and play expansive football there. He may need to go elsewhere first though to rebuild a bit of his reputation. Perhaps Rangers or Celtic?

At United I think he's caught between two stools. He wants us to be progressive and forward looking but he just can't get them to play like that.

I do think we may see a change in the next few weeks and revert back to the more solid look we have had under him at times. I expect McFred to start against Liverpool (with Pogba either on the bench or LW) and Shaw and AWB asked to hang back a bit more. It won't be that pretty but with Rashford, Greenwood, Bruno, Cavani, Ronaldo, Sancho etc to select from up front we'll always have a goal threat in us.

the media narrative - which does seem to have some influence in how managers and players are perceived - is that Ole is a nice enough guy but not a very good coach and who’s survived as long as he has due to a mix of fan goodwill and the individual ‘moments’ from his best players rather than down to any tactical genius or progressive ideas about the game.
---------------------
You and Red Indian are now considered the "media narrative"?

Maybe i've missed all this media coverage, but I find them to be suspiciously quiet about what they think of Ole.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Really? Pretty much everyone in the media is saying the same thing and has for ages.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes really... I've not seen any media articles that seem to so perfectly align with your own point of view. Feel free to share them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They’re all out there. Just type in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer into google and you’ll see many many newspaper outlets and football websites all with a shared opinion that Ole is out of his depth. The onus is on you to prove me wrong rather than for me to do any work that a simple google search could uncover.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I did that before I even posted... couldn't find anything. I even tried Ole+Man UTD+Opinion piece ... nothing.

If you don't want to back up your claims... then the onus is on me to call you out for your bulllshittt
