Lindelof will play over Maguire under any of those managers in my opinion.
I'd prefer Rodgers. I know this sounds weird, given the CL successes, but Real under Zidane rarely impressed me. They tended to win big games due to big players producing in big moments. Maybe that's harsh, maybe he is a brilliant tactician but I'm just not convinced.
I'd like Rodgers to be the next manager, personally but if Zidane was appointed he could well be a success. I'm basing my judgement on the limited times I watched his teams play, rather than a regular basis.
I wouldn't mind Luis Enrique, Mancini, or Ten Hag. All three would be really difficult to get now though I'd imagine. The World Cup in winter doesn't help with the first two.
I actually think Giggs would be a better option than Ole if we're going down the legend route. He got my natuonal side playing decent football and got them pretty solid too.
Giggs in the short term I mean and if he escapes prison etc.
Zidane doesn't speak English.

Agree completely. Something about Zidane just doesn't convince me. Successful as they were that Real team never really blew me away - as you say a team that relied on moments from some absolutely unreal players.
As I said on another thread I'm also warming to the idea of Rodgers, and is one of the few who I think we could get mid season.

Ask his brother if hes guilty of BANGING HIS WIFE.
Koeman may be available soon, the Barca fans hounded him on his way out of the Nou Camp and told him it's time to go.
They don't mess about and accept mediocrity in that part of the world!
Ten Hag is an interesting one. He built a really impressive Ajax team and seems to have built another one. They are exciting to watch and have performed well not just in the Netherlands but also on the European stage.
Ajax have a really good structure, the sort that is probably only really rivalled by Bayern imo. So there's the question of how well he'd do at the asylum that is MUFC at present. A very different environment. He did very well at Utrecht too though.
Certainly would be interesting to see how he'd do if we wanted him and he'd be willing to come.

Not sure that's against the law? Hugely shabby? Yes but I'd wonder how many people have a blank guilt sheet?
Considering he's currently available you would think Zidane would be the better option for the board
Can't think why Giggs isn't in with a shout.

Give Ajax Donny for Ten Hag. Swap one man who is always on the bench for another.

Merry can’t be worse than Ole! He’s actually a proper coach would good football education. I’d be looking to not only get hag but also vds and the coaches ofc! Get in a few players also from there and pay them well for that. Could really rejuvenate things here
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah that would be the ideal scenario. If he works well within a certain structure, bring in the key players from said structure with him.
Our coaches aren't up to it anyway, so replacements are required anyway. And VDS has a great reputation, is an intelligent guy and with his United links, may be willing to come?
Being a former player definitely shouldn't be high on the list of criteria for appointments, but if someone does meet that criteria and is a former player, it's a nice bonus.
