I’m sure Rafa won’t have been pleased to see his team concede 5 at the weekend so I suspect he will be putting a big emphasis on keeping a clean sheet in this one. So it will be a cagey affair with the onus on Wolves to break the deadlock.
Hopefully Neves back in our starting line up and no surprise if Marcal came back in also. But I can see the front three of Traore, Jimenez and Hwang given the task of breaking down Rafa’s rearguard
After a long absence with injury, Oskar Buur made his comeback for the U23s on Monday evening. His cross set up the late winner against a Newcastle team that included Jonjo Shelvey
Always a spicy one this for me, was highly amusing listening to the commentary on Saturday as we were driving to Wales for a week away. Other half turned the air blue. Me and the lad chuckling away at her as the goals rolled in. We might cop the back lash to that though, Rafa's on pretty thin ice to start with with the fans, he's a good coach though and won't want to allow any kind of repeat of that.
I'm hoping a home atmosphere under the lights will lift our boys a bit to a more confident and fluid performance than we've seen recently but as much as I'd love us to be able to kick Everton while they're down I don't think a draw would be a bad result.
Vinagre is on loan at Sporting Lisbon now and was getting rave reviews but I did notice recently he’s been relegated to the bench. Sporting have an option to buy and I did read recently that the deal is that they have an obligation to buy unless they get relegated. As Sporting always finish in the top three that’s a pretty meaningless option so Wolves are sure to net around €10m next summer from his sale if that’s true
Just seen the weather for the next week in the UK gem. It looks delightful I don't know how i used to do it.

Yeah it's shat here but still warmer than France. When I stopped for a rest just outside Paris on Monday morning it was 2 degrees C
I'm in snowdonia for the week and although it's been pretty grey it's been fairly warm so far and we've somehow managed to miss all the rain. Hoping it holds out till Thursday when we're due to do a 100mph zip wire across an old slate quarry
Been relatively warm and dry recently but forecast says windy and rain from Thursday. I was thinking of going to snowdonja myself this weekend till I saw that. Hope hous get lucky
Remarkable saves by Wolves U18s keeper James Storer at the weekend against Man Utd

tight game this but 2-1 wolves
No player in European football is more effective at stopping attempted dribbles than Nelson Semedo this season. His 82% success rate is the highest across all leagues.
Just thought I'd check back in with you guys.
I'm expecting a good performance on Monday against Everton. 3-0 win.
After conceding 5 last time out, Rafa will confuse the feck out of his defenders in training, and they won't know whether they're coming or going by Monday.
Ohhh just realised this is a monday night game. Midday kick off for me
Willy Boly now back in full training and will be available if selected for the Everton game
Personally, I'd drop Saiss if Boly is match ready but I expect it will be the same back three.
I’ve been surprised when Saiss has been selected ahead of Boly. Saiss is a good squad player but to me should never be first choice in any position and he has looked vulnerable in recent games
Bruno Jordao has also stepped up his fitness training as he closes in on a return
I put Saiss at fault for the first Villa goal and partially at fault for the Leeds penalty. He has a tendency to commit to the tackle or try to knick the ball rather than sometimes just shepherding someone wide or backwards. It was because of this he was beaten easily by John McGinn to put the cross in for the first goal, when there was originally little danger.
It was also because of this he was caught square on to be beaten by Gelhardt when he ran in the box and led to Semedo having to try to make a tackle from the wrong side to stop a free shot on goal. I think if that had happened on the other side, Kilman would have had his body open and gone with Gelhardt to force him wide and challenge the shot, which would have stopped Semedo needing to commit to pressure. Decisions like that are why Kilman is the superior defender.
Not a lot of people know this, but Siass's middle name "Ghanem" is actually Moroccan Arabic for liability.
You can blame all our back three at some point this season, but it seems Saiss is the #1 culprit with some. He's in the team on merit right now and has scored.
Boly has not been fit, will need time to get back up to full fitness and on the performances over the past year, doesn't deserve a starting spot at the moment.
Spot on Wolfie, blame Saiss for a penalty given away by Semedo what a joke.
Kilman gave the first goal away against Brentford but nobody blamed him so I suppose it was Saiss at fault.
The guy always gives 100% .
