He's had the opportunity to leave 3 times down South. 2 EPL & 1 Championship. Although in fairness the EPL might have been in the process of or imminently crossing over to the Championship at the time from memory. I haven't said any more or less than that so if others want to start adding or removing things thats up to them.

Probably not too difficult to work out though from the manager profiles who have gone to the same clubs.

I’m not really convinced myself that he’s genuinely knocked back 3 clubs, and the only place I’ve read that is on here.

1, I can imagine slipping through the net-especially if it was a championship team.

Agreed. Once a club get "permission to speak" you can be fairly certain it will go through as the background conversations with an agent have already taken place to gauge interest. If Villa make a formal approach it will be because the informal approach went down well.
