If Judd beats Matthew Selt he will face Barry Hawkins in the next round which is a tough match. Last time they played Barry won 10-7 in the tour championship. The previous 3 meetings before that match (excluding the championship league) Judd won them all but in deciding frames! So it's always very nervy when they play.
Anyway first thing first Judd needs to win tomorrow before I worry about the next round.
Trump and Ronnie in the other half of the draw. Judd would have faced John then Selby if rankings played out. Ronnie was in the same half as Robbo and Murphy.
Judd could face Gilbert/Allen so hoping they can beat him.
I'm watching Lisiwski vs Dott. It's the better match in my opinion.
Ronnie has got a chance of winning this if he avoids Trump.

Trump has said some quite nasty things about Ronnie recently, saying he's miles away from winning a tournament, I'd say Trump beats Ronnie atm, but if you poke the lion too much he's likely to come back biting... Trump should take stock, 3 triple crown titles, 1 of each, at 32 isn't too special, if or when he reaches half of Ronnie's total then he's got a right to spout off...
*Yawn* Judd hasn't always been a top player. Between 2011-2018 he was a decent top 6 player but that was all. There were times no one thought he'd win a World championship. Judge him at the end of his career not now.
