You are seriously crazy if you genuinely believe this

If this is on careers then it’s not as bad

But on current ability mourinho is utterly finished

You are just trying to wind up the Liverpool fans me thinks…..

I thought we agreed to stop recognising German achievements after 1945?

Liverpool nearly won the title in 2014. Klopp took over in 2015. What is this myth that Liverpool has a championship level squad when Klopp joined?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well they'd replaced Suarez and Sterling with Balotelli and Benteke for a start.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Benteke was a a good player at the time. Liverpool had Sturridge, Coutinho, Milner, Henderson,Firmino, Sakho etc who were all good players at the time when Klopp took over.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sakho was poor and those players at that time do not compare to what Tuchel walked into at Chelsea.

If you're seriously believing that Benteke and Sakho were good players for Liverpool and that justifies Klopp having a good team, similar to what Tuchel had taken over at Chelsea, then your argument holds no credibility in my opinion.

Two great managers but what will be telling is that Tuchel will not last as long at Chelsea as Klopp has at Liverpool.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Uhm how do you know this exactly?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's Chelsea
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep.

Klopp will be here 9 years when he leaves. Not a chance Tuchel is at Chelsea that long.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If the reason Tuchel won't last is "It's Chelsea," then longevity in the post for either club is clearly a completely pointless and useless yardstick.

Chelsea don’t tolerate failure, don’t think that’s anything to be particularly ashamed of actually.

But its more than the club, at both his previous big clubs he’s fallen out with the hierarchy after about 18 months. There is a quote from the Dortmund president, can’t remember the exact quote but it’s something like Tuchel is a brilliant coach but a difficult man to work with.

We'd have to have had a spectacular drop in quality for that to happen... we're kicking butt even with Lukaku and Werner out currently

It's very unlikely that Klopp's results over his first 2 seasons at L'pool would've been tolerated at Chelsea, which is why it's a pointless comparison.

I don't really know the ins and outs of his problems with the PSG and BvB suits, but my impression from a far is that both clubs had trouble handing too much authority over to such a young manager. BvB have been through 5 managers since he left, so in hindsight you'd think they'd made a pig's dinner of it. PSG on their part have become a bit of a celebrity clown car.

In fairness, you do have a bit of history in the last 10 years or so of catastrophic drop offs, leading to both Mourinho and Conte getting sacked for example. You could probably add Lampard to this list as well.

I have also heard that both PSG and Dortmund found Tuchel difficult to deal with and I think it was an unnamed senior official at Dortmund (could have been PSG though) said that he was unreasonable to work with. I'm sure it is likely a "six of one half a dozen of another" situation, but it appears a little more than coincidental that both clubs have mentioned that.

Probably wouldn't have been tolerated. But I'm very grateful that Liverpool's owners recognised that we had a better manager than we probably had a right to expect at that moment in time.

I can't claim any insight into Tuchel at BvB & PSG, just what I've read. I quite like Andy Brassell as a football journalist and he knows his German football - he certainly thinks that Tuchel is a timebomb. But it's kind of a perfect fit really, Chelsea look like winning a few things and then move on.

Not sure why we would sack Tuchel any time soon. But sure, desperate Liverpool fans can cling to that hope

Must have hated seeing Real Madrid pull Liverpool's pants down home and away in the CL last year only for Tuchel to then dominate Real in the semi final. Almost must have hated seeing Klopp fail to beat Tuchel's ten man chelsea at Anfield. So I get why Liverpool fans hate Tuchel.

I said it would be no surprise, because it wouldn't because I can count managers under Roman lasting more than 2 years on one hand.

Don't hate Tuchel at all. Think it's great we have so many top managers in the league - Pep, Conte, Tuchel and Klopp are all top of their game. Great to see.

Not everyone has your level of hatred Wahl. Some people are grown-ups.
