I actually really like Tuchel too, a good manager and quite similar to Klopp. Think he's doing a good job with Chelsea who are much less hateable under him than they have been under previous managers.

It's just a fack that Chelsea have always been very trigger happy with managers and I don't know why Tuchel would be any exception to that.

Klopp will go down as the greatest LFC manager of all time, Tuchel will just be another manager that came along, won a couple of trophies and was sacked for daring to finish 3rd in the perpetual boom and bust cycle that is Chelsea.

Disagree all you like he has rebuilt this club into perennial title contenders, and won the thing that we hadn't in 30 years.

He'll go down as an absolute legend for that and doing it against City under Guardiola with infinite resources just adds to that case.

Maybe not the greatest ever, then Robbing that's probably overstating it. But he has earnt the right to sit alongside Shanks and Paisley.

I used to like Chelsea, was a big fan of Hoddle.

So what argument is there for Klopp being better than Tuchel aside from supposedly Liverpool having a garbage team that finished 2nd in the league just over a year before Klopp became manager?

The squad was then 5th and in the EL for a reason, the club was operating at an EL standard during that time. That's not to say they couldn't have had good seasons, but that's where they were and the players reflected that. It was an EL side that was boosted by a world class striker complemented with very good forward players that had momentum during one season. It wasn't sustained or replicated for a reason.

He managed to turn that team into arguably the world's best team within 3 seasons. That's a greater achievement than Tuchel's good, yet anticipated performances, at both Dortmund and PSG.

What did Chelsea achieve before Tuchel? Last Cl was 2012. Last pl was 2017. Just like Klopp, Tuchel took a team that’s wasn’t competitive for pl/cl
