I mischeviously embarrassed Frank McLintock on the Xmas show of the Big Match in 1971, after they won the double that year and I have footage of him putting his hand across my mouth while I am PMSL.

He then did an article in the Evening Standard on the Monday after the programme was shown entitled "The lad that made me blush in front of the TV millions" tbf he was a nice fella and a pretty good sport.

Met a few other celebs over the years also at various moments.

Curly Watts used to drink in a pub in didsbury who’s name I’ve forgotten. It’s now Alberts opposite the Woodstock. I remember bumping into him once when I worked for an advertising agency in Manchester. I was holding a red file and said ‘hey curly this is your life’ he just said FOOK OFF dkhead! Charming man 👨

Curly Watts drank in most pubs in Chorlton/Didsbury, in his proper day job as a professional Manchester City supporter.

Im sure Binky probably knew him quite well.
