Think a thread similar to this ended up with 2 someone arguing all night about Windass actually being a great guy? Can't remember who it was.

Harry Enfield - very nice
Robbie Savage - very nice and taller than he looks
Paul Merson - drunk obnoxious tw@t who speaks to his kids like they are trash
Dean Windass - worse than Merson
Vinnie Jones - lovely fella
Gazza - didn't say much, but its Gazza. I was starstruck and probably mumbling more than him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
glad to hear enfield was a nice chap. i thought he was the funniest thing going.
I spent most of a day with Linford Christie at a corporate event we were both guests at. He was utterly dull.
i met rio ferdinand on a school trip to some theme park, he signed my wallet (he was there with his son)

Wasn't that the secret footballer? He's from the area but played on the south coast and in the midlands, doesn't like Robbie Savage but Dean Windass is a great guy. Was it Daryl something?

vinnie was bang on.
we were in a nightclub in newmarket in the VIP bar when he came in.
we got chatting with him and he asked us if we wanted a drink with him so we said yes.
his agent who was with him pulled out a wad of notes a brick thick... vinnie took it, gave a shed load to the barman and told them to keep us in drinks all night, we werent to spend a penny.
his mrs was there too... stunning lady and really nice... you could tell vinnie doted on her... was gutted when i heard she died
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, that was my experience of him. I met him after his wife had died and you could see their was a sadness in his eyes, but he was still really nice to speak to. I have heard that he and his wife were solid and that she was a lovely lady.

What a sore loser!
Oh, and I've met loads of the cast of Emmerdale. They film around where I live, so often see them. Nick Berry too when he was in Heartbeat.
The bloke that plays Zach Dingle is always on the lash in my town. Quite often sat in a pub when I am out and about. Nice bloke, likes a drink, apparently skint.
Like most, I have met a few celebrities but one football- incident sticks out, John Terry.
JT, few weeks before the Wayne Bridge Saga, I was by the window, in the waiting area of a private dentist and an X-5 came up and packed in the disabled area, JT got out. The security walked over, JT waved him off, dashed into surgery and walked straight into one of the dentist offices.
Twenty mins or so later, he came out. Exited the surgery to his car, there was a ticket on it (I imagine because he parked on disabled bay), he took the ticket, ripped it, tossed it on the floor and drove off.
