I love it’s always sunny. Shame they’ve got rid of a few episodes in case it “offends” people. One of the episodes they got rid of was where they create a lethal weapon sequel. That was one of my favourite episodes

Nothing like any of those, in the slightest. If you do watch, be prepared for the first 2 series being quite low budget. It's a different beast now. Also the longest running show of it's type in history, or something like that.

From the OP:
- Better Call Saul - one of the greatest pieces of televisual art ever
- Seeeex Education is very watchable but I can't get my head around how wilfully unrealistic it is both in terms of the universe it creates (weird mix of US high school and UK location; demographics of metropolis but set in rural idyll; kind of contemporary but everyone driving 80s cars - feels like the whole thing is drenched in a sickly haze of nostalgia that's quite distracting) and ridiculous scenarios like being able to check someone's smartphone without having to unlock it.

I’m weirdly enthralled at a professor of all that is quality such as yourself sitting down in your kappa tracksuit bottoms drinking an energy drink watching the show 🙌

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Warrior is well worth a watch. Based on the writings of Bruce Lee.

x2 Only watched it recently, thought it was great even though I later read they overdid it with all the veiled threats. I also found out that part of the personal stories are based on the oral reports collected by a Belarussian-Ukranian women who I'd never even heard of but whose efforts in recording Soviet-era oral tradition earned her the Nobel Award for Literature.

The cheesiest piece of nostalgia ever seen on TV. And I f'ing loved it!

It's a documentary rather than a series but I watched Free Solo fairly recently and really enjoyed it. The bloke has balls the size of texas to do what he does but it's really well made imo.

Free Solo is excellent. The guy is insane

Series i find to be massively underrated btw:

- Snowfall (iplayer). If you like Narcos this is a must. Not part of that series obviously but its about the crack epidemic so a continuation of the story in a way,

- Patriot (Prime)

-Animal Kingdom (first few series on Prime)

-American crime story (Netflix). I'm finding the recent Bill Clinton series a bit boring but the first 2 are excellent.

If I notice it now in series 4 then you are entirely to blame and I'll set my karate students on you.

Ray Donovan was a good series. Just seen a trailer to the movie which they releasing because they didn't want to do a season 8.

The book it was based on was good - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashforward_(novel). I've not seen the series though.
