Brighton will be very under strength defensively so that should encourage us to attack. Pity Raul misses this one though

42 players of Premier League clubs have now tested positive this week. The highest number since the pandemic began
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Players with any symptoms = Zero

Is there any blind panic? Doesn't seem like it to me, just sensible precautions til we know what we are dealing with. The bigger issue is likely the way the variant will spread around mass gatherings like footy games. Hopefully this variant is the good news we are hoping for but still too early to take it too lightly.

Can we introduce standing order posts
for cinci to save him posting the same things every week this season.
On the match thread, Ait Nouri has been brilliant regardless of whether he has played good, bad or indifferent
On the previews, Traore shouldn't be in the team regardless of whether he has been playing good, bad or indifferent
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just coming back to this. I think you were mocking me continually saying Ait-Nouri needs to be starting and not Marcal. Guess I was right

There is definitely a feeling of "blind panic" here mate. Boris calling it a "tidal wave" and bringing in emergency measures to roll out the booster programme
Offices closed again, mask mandates bought back in, and the U Turns on his irreversible path back to "freedom"
The clown is floundering around like a StrikeMug on a Chelsea match day thread. He contradicts himself more in a week than WolfieinaFLap does in a day!
Did anyone seriously believe that we were going into winter without an increase in respiratory illness and hospitalisations?
4 brighton players have tested positive for covid which must mean tomorrow’s game is in doubt
Does anyone know the rules about how many players with Covid are out before the game can be cancelled ?
Don’t know the rules on that but the real issue is that if these players have been training with the rest of the squad then others may be required to isolate
Wolves are evidently the only club in the Premier League who are on track to give all staff a booster jab before the end of December. Because other clubs were slow to administer a second jab to all staff, then some aren’t yet entitled to a booster
I was listening to a podcast where they talked about Wolves being the only fully vaccinated team. Apparently there was no real secret method to it. The players just trust the medical staff and when they were told they were all being vaccinated one day, they just turned up and got on with it.
One of the advantages of not having any Prima Donnas in the dressing room.
In his pre-game press conference on zoom, Bruno said Brighton have no plans to request a postponement as things stand. All the Wolves players that were available for the City game, apart from Jimenez, will be available tomorrow. Said how impressed he was that Wolves have sold 3,000 tickets for a midweek away game at Brighton.
In preparation for ACON, Dendoncker, Marcal and Hoever have all been spending time on the training ground playing as centre backs
Reading a story today that when Angers sold Rayan Ait Nouri to Wolves they inserted a 50% sell on clause in the deal. So no great fortune to be made by Wolves on any resale
Leeds are showing everyone how not to play against Man City.
City were brilliant, but Leeds made it easy for them by being so open
Didn't a Leeds fan say earlier in the season, that Leeds were on the up and Wolves on the way down.
Muppet.
Big decision for Bruno tonight on how to set up the attack without Jimenez. We could stick to the 352 we used at City but with Brighton having 3 centre backs out injured I’d rather see us go back to having 3 up front and attack them. Watched City last night and Foden had a brilliant game playing as the ‘false number nine’ playing behind the front line for much of the time but making runs into the box at every opportunity. Think that’s a role Podence could do for us tonight
If we play with a false number 9, I'm pretty sure we will lose. False number 9s only really work for teams that control possession. We are unlikely to do that away at Brighton.

Pleasantly surprised to have tested negative after attending two indoor super spreader events in Manchester over the weekend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoke too soon
Thought It was a reaction to the booster I had yesterday but got all the symptoms today and tested positive, off for a drive through PCR later.
Would be surprised if we see anything other than hwang centrally in a front three. Brighton much weakened tonight so it will be disappointing if we don't go at them.

Ouch, sorry man, that is the next ten days ruined. It is spreading crazily over there right now, i wouldn't be going anywhere near any crowded gatherings if i had any xmas plans with family now.
We need to go for the jugular tonight.
Take no prisoners.
Disappointing that it's on BT tonight, we have hardly been on Sky this season.
Big Six fixation.

Bad news. Do you get to find out if its Delta or Omicron? I had the delta version and was out of action for 3 weeks
