The one on Winks was quite clumsy from Matip, although it would have been pretty soft all things considered. Alli's was a lazy push although, again, it would have been soft. As we all rightly say though, they probably get those on the halfway line so, a foul is a foul.
Jota's was a penalty, whether he was slowing down, looking for it or not etc. It's a blatant shove in the back with far more force than the one on Winks, which is a debatable penalty, but Jota's for me is nailed on.
No complaints with Robertson's red card, Kane is probably a bit lucky as it's a dangerous tackle. Having said that, he isn't over the top of the ball, it was just a poor striker's challenge and was lucky not to see red.

As they said on MOTD2, England captains don’t get sent off.
Was a terrible tackle.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nonsense.
Had Robertson's tackle happened before Kane's, they would both have been sent off.
Kane's happened very early in the match, so the Ref let it go.
Would have spoilt the match otherwise.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s not supposed to be the basis of how you ref though!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But it is!
A ref that blows an important game in the first ten minutes gets a lot to answer for afterwards.

In fairness I do think this happens. Very rarely do you see yellow cards given early in the first half unless they are obvious, such as stopping a counter attack. Whereas in the second half they are given out relatively promptly.
I do think referee's are somewhat more lenient in the first half where possible.

The Winks one wasn’t even inside the box
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is that definite? Looked like contact was right on the line to me but haven't seen any in depth replays etc so couldn't say for certain.
I think the Kane one is a shocking oversight. That’s not even debatable imo, it’s just a red card.
Robertson, at the time I felt it was one of those where a yellow seemed too lenient and a red too harsh. On reflection I think it was more red than yellow. The aggression and the frustration of the tackle make it a red for me.
Our second goal shouldn’t have stood imo. I understand the rules have changed on what VAR can rule on but that’s handball.
Pen shouts are always subjective. I would say the Jota incident is one of the more simple decisions tbh, that’s given 9 times out of 10 I’d say.
Couple of final points. I simply don’t understand why refs only use the screens when VAR want them to change their minds. Surely using the screen could/would have cleared up a couple of the errors above. I just gives the ref some time and second chance at making the right call. Seems mad to have it and not use it.
Second reflection - Spurs missed some absolutely great chances. As a Liverpool fan I feel slightly aggrieved because Spurs should’ve been down to 10 relatively early but reflecting on the game as it played out, we were fortunate to get out with a point.
The Kane one was the worst decision of the night by a mile. Just because the Liverpool player managed to get out of the way before his leg was snapped in two doesn't absolve Kane of a very dangerous tackle.

I also think your manager's usual pro Liverpool attitudes, where he will always moan about everything that didn't go his way, whilst ignoring things that did ( Salah's obvious handball )
I called it yesterday on the media's focus today, being all about Kane's tackle, Klopp's crying and nothing on the actual game, including the performance Spurs put in.
But at least you, whilst disappointed, have at least posted common sence views on the game.

Yeah...and Kane knows this...as does Tierney...disgraceful....both should be retrospectively sanctioned

You mean like every other manager and/or player? Have you seen Kane's interview?

Spurs are victims in every post you make. You go a long way to force circumstances into an arrangement where Spurs have been victimised one way or another. Pathetic tbh.
