Sorry…………..it as another Jason for me.
Cundy was an awful player and now an even worse pundit!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just a massive khunt with a huge chip on his shoulder about Spurs. The guy was celebrating Sterling’s last gasp goal against us in the CL quarter final like he had just won the lottery, the look on his face when it was ruled out was priceless.
All he ever did for us was score that fluke goal at Portman road
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I watch that video with a huge smile on my phone. Seeing Jason Cundy go from absolute euphoria ( weird ) at Spurs going out the CL, to almost crying when the goal got ruled out by VARthe Kathryn thing is, it didn’t even involve Chelsea. That’s how obsessed Chelsea, Westham and Arsenal fans are of seeing Spurs not getting any success. Honestly it will be the sweetest thing on the planet when we eventually win a major trophy and we can shove it in their faces.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally I find the Gooners aren’t too bothered, but Chelsea and West Ham in particular really really care. I get the small time mentality with the Whammers but not Chelsea. West Ham have to be the bitterest and at times most deluded fan base to ever exist.
Cundy is just a massive khunt
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My cousin went to Brum Uni and I remember asking him what the locals were like.
He said Villa fans were fine and were safe in the knowledge that they are the biggest club in the area however City fans were wracked with jealousy and seemed to want Villa to lose more than the Blues to win.
That's how I see alot of West Ham fans, us doing badly seems more important than their success.
So small minded!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, but Chelsea are the same. Incredibly successful unfortunately . I wish they weren’t and I wish they disappeared into oblivion, but they sing about Spurs every home game. They are literally obsessed. Look at the Chelsea Spurs title decider as a prime example. They finished mid table that season, yet celebrated that Hazard goal to win Leicester the title like they had just won the CL again. Westham being inferior and smaller I agree, but Chelsea don’t really have much to be jealous about as they win trophies. We seem to be so rent free in their heads it’s incredible. A lot of my fringes are curlers fans and all they sing about when they go to the bridge is Anti Spurs songs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes when Arsenal play Chelsea both fans usually have a rendition of "stand up if you hate Tottenham" at half time and of course West Ham fans sing "we hate Tottenham more than you" when they go to the Emirates.
I have to say I love it, for me its the old Millwall way of looking at things, no one likes us and we don't care.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When we went to support Chelsea at Arsenal it was not tense or nasty, compared to West Ham especially, lol.
Massive generalisation, but gunners fans were soft, whereas, hammers, West ham and spurs were up for it.No offence Pawl or gooners😀
As a Chelsea fan, spurs are biggest London rivals, but Liverpool are most disliked by blues.
Personally, I am old enough to remember great spurs and pool teams, so try to maintain sporting perspective🥰
----------------------------------------------------------------------
None taken tbab I'm fully aware that some Spurs fans are no angels.
I've taken my 10 year old lad to a few Prem games home and away but I wouldn't have him anywhere near a West Ham game. Even in modern times the atmosphere around that fixture is toxic and Spurs nutters are just as much to blame (sometimes more so) than the Hammers boys.

Think it's harsh to label Rebrov as a flop We signed him for the wrong reasons, and we expected him to bang in 20-30 goals a season. He wasn't that type of player at all. He did ok in his first season and chipped in with 12 goals (I think) and then Hoddle took charge and didn't fancy him
----------------------------------------------------------------------

When I was at secondary school my mates dad was a Swindon regular and sometimes we used to tag along for the crack.
Usually the away end had a few hundred people in it (at the most) but when Milllwall were in town they brought 2.5k and it was different gravy.
They used to scare the shat out of me but it was one fixture I always went to out of morbid curiosity.
Fair play to the Swindon boys they always gave it a go but they were hugely out of their depth.

said similar earlier and it fell on deaf ears
The worst period that we ever had was when we got relegated in the 76/77 season.
Pat Jennings & John Duncan were injured for most it the season... & we stupidly sold Alfie Conn..,
The replacements OMG... Barry Daines goalkeeper... replacement strikers.. Gerry Armstrong, Ian Moores & Chris Jones... were shocking... the worst in our history... Obviously... as we got relegated...
They were the reason why we got relegated... so must be considered the worst ever!!!
This was my first season of supporting Spurs FFS!!!

I've taken my 10 year old lad to a few Prem games home and away but I wouldn't have him anywhere near a West Ham game. Even in modern times the atmosphere around that fixture is toxic and Spurs nutters are just as much to blame (sometimes more so) than the Hammers boys.

The spurs firm have got, "tastier" in more modern times, from guys I know going to Chelsea when I returned to Belfast.
West ham in the 80's scared me more than Rangers Celtic riots and Belfast battles lol.
Only went to Millwall when Chelsea were away for a couple of games, like we went to AFC too, and tjeolddrn was bleak and crazy.
Spoke to older Chelsea boys who were at Millwall Chelsea games and meathooks etc were used by the F Troop mob FFS, to catch stragglers fleeing😲

This article could end up having just as many pages as the match thread. That’s how much dross we’ve seen over the years.

My cousin went to Brum Uni and I remember asking him what the locals were like.
He said Villa fans were fine and were safe in the knowledge that they are the biggest club in the area however City fans were wracked with jealousy and seemed to want Villa to lose more than the Blues to win.
That's how I see alot of West Ham fans, us doing badly seems more important than their success.
So small minded!!

Think it's harsh to label Rebrov as a flop We signed him for the wrong reasons, and we expected him to bang in 20-30 goals a season. He wasn't that type of player at all. He did ok in his first season and chipped in with 12 goals (I think) and then Hoddle took charge and didn't fancy him

said similar earlier and it fell on deaf ears

The worst period that we ever had was when we got relegated in the 76/77 season.
Pat Jennings & John Duncan were injured for most it the season... & we stupidly sold Alfie Conn..,
The replacements OMG... Barry Daines goalkeeper... replacement strikers.. Gerry Armstrong, Ian Moores & Chris Jones... were shocking... the worst in our history... Obviously... as we got relegated...
They were the reason why we got relegated... so must be considered the worst ever!!!
This was my first season of supporting Spurs FFS!!!

Hibs and Geordies handled Millwall better than most, apparently....possibly Boro Front Line too?
