Secondly, I’d personally prefer Johnson not to resign, purely because - whether he was under pressure to do so or not - it would feel like he had some semblance of control over the matter.

I’d much rather he faced a motion of no confidence, and was unceremoniously booted out of Number 10, in utter disgrace.

Yes he should. He’s a despicable piece of sheite who doesn’t have the good character that we as a people should demand of someone who holds the highest office in the land. He’s been shown time and again in his career to be a lying buffoon and his populist stances and bonhomie shouldn’t be enough to have got him - or keep him - where he is. Ok, mate.

What I find slightly alarming is that in a poll yesterday 27 per cent polled think he should stay, which means a very sizeable number of people are happy that he he lies, breaks every rule going. What does that say about this country. In reality nobody should want him to stay if he is partying, whilst people cannot go to funerals to bury their loved ones.

It needs one of the actual Tory MPs to stand up in Parliament and publicly denounce him to his face. Far to many Tory MPs are right up his arris, and are scared to go against him. That has to change surely.
