He has to go but the way Burley was cosying up to Rayner this morning nearly made me bring my breakfast up.
The elephant in the room is that Kay Burley was banned for 6 months from Sky for having a party that broke the rules.

It is hypocritical BUT the most important aspect here is the rules were broken by the very people who set them. That's the key issue here.
He has to go. I'm sure he will blubber his way through at PMQs later and divert. It's criminal.
Has to go because he's lost all credibility and trust he had, which wasn't a lot to begin with, but the problem is, what sc4muck will they replace him with. Would bet anything you like it wouldn't be someone who others countries would envy or makes you proud to have him/her as our leader.

He may as well just put a sign on the dispatch box saying 'we are waiting for the results of the investigation, Labour are playing politics, we are getting on with the job'. That's likely what he will say to pretty much any question.

What I find slightly alarming is that in a poll yesterday 27 per cent polled think he should stay, which means a very sizeable number of people are happy that he he lies, breaks every rule going. What does that say about this country. In reality nobody should want him to stay if he is partying, whilst people cannot go to funerals to bury their loved ones.
It needs one of the actual Tory MPs to stand up in Parliament and publicly denounce him to his face. Far to many Tory MPs are right up his arris, and are scared to go against him. That has to change surely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It says a lot about the state of politics in this country. 27 percent is a joke but gives a good indication of where the other parties are at. Labour should be banging at the door but they're nowhere to be seen. Where does your money go now? The posh boys club that look after their own or the party that's too sensitive that seem to always back the dregs of society? It's no wonder people haven't got the stomach to put pen to paper.

I think it's a difficult period for the opposition to be honest. The government are chewing themselves up and sometimes it's better to let that happen. Particularly when they have a leader that repeatedly tries to use a pandemic to point score by accusing the opposition of 'playing politics'. Its Boris' favourite line.
Also, the Tories have a track record of effectively attacking Labour on their manifesto pledges when given time by using repeatable slogans and then stealing some of the policies they have attacked.
Sometimes the best thing to do is stay in the background, give the opposition nothing and the reveal your hand at the right time. You just have to hope the opposition parties reveal a strong hand when it comes to the election.

Spot on.
Yes he should. No question.
Johnson believes he belongs to a superior class, they have a strong sense of entitlement and don't think the rules apply to them. He will ask the Met Police to conduct and enquiry and then hide behind that for a few months and hope that it will all soon be forgotten. He may well get away with it, he has done so all his life
No, he should stay until the next general election so we can push the Tories out
He’s not sorry he did it, he’s sorry he has been caught.
He lied yet again when he told parliament he was furious at the rumours of previous parties at number ten and that no restrictions were broken, knowing full well he attended this party.
What worries me most is this:
If another new variant emerged, one that beat all vaccines, would boris the liar be able to convince people to lock down again?
Because if he couldn’t, people will die.
Personally I hope he carries on and destroys the whole horrible lot of the Tory party and they lose the last election. As a firefighter I might get a first payrise in ten years and see my service funded properly and be able to offer the service this country deserves
But that’s just me.
