It’s a disgrace this has been called off. We are now four PL games behind. Arsenal 100% manipulating the system here because they have players out of reasons other than covid. The way we’ve played the last three games I’d have no confidence in us beating them at all and we are without Dier and Son, for me it’s not a case of wanting to play a weakened Arsenal - it’s more that it’s a joke they’ve been allowed to get away with it and the impact it’ll have on us re fixture congestion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spot on.
No backbone from the PL as usual, pathetic from Arsenal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I havent read that but you are wrong.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Running scared of Doherty at LWB, hilarious.
Best two CBs, Son, Dybala, Vlahovic and Lamptey will all be available for spurs in the rearranged fixture

Exactly, ours was a legit covid breakout. Arsenal last I read have one confirmed player case (Odegaard). The rest of their absentees is a combo of injuries, suspensions, ACON and loans. Sorry but that’s tough sheite, manage your playing staff better you mugs.
---
Instead of venting your anger at Arsenal why don't you put it in the direction of the league they set the rules and the precedent has been set previously Arsenal as is their right are requesting to be treated just like any other team. No one is outraged that Burnley and Leicester be off because Burnley can't field a team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree with this. Obviously we’re predisposed to dislike arsenal but any team will try and take advantage of the league create a mess of a situation like this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep spot on. Just it's arsenal are horrible so any excuse to vent
Conference league was a step too far for arsenal this time
“We have reluctantly taken this step but we have many players currently unavailable across our squad as a result of Covid, injuries and players away with their countries at AFCON.”
“Result of covid”

Joke decision in favour of a team who sent a midfielder on loan when they knew they were losing a few to AFCON. Xhaka being a braindead moron is his own fault and shouldn’t be a factor. How many actual covid cases do they have?
Disgraceful stuff and we’re supposed to act like there’s no bias or favouritism for certain teams? How many dodgy things have to happen before calling them out isn’t dismissed as paranoia?
Where's Dot_Cottonham? Meltdown isn't complete without Donothy's little outbursts
Fair play to Arsenal. They have manipulated a situation in order to get a game postponed. I feel sorry for all the fans that have been facked around having purchased tickets for the game

I'm not fussed really, we have important players out too and losing to arsenal tomorrow who field a completely depleted team would be an inconsolable embarrassment.
Strange some were so confident of a win when out back 3 would have been Tanganga Sanchez and Davies
So Xhaka will be available to get a red card in the rearranged game.

Just seen the statement from the Premier League.
To be fair to Arsenal, they have simply asked for the rules the Premier League have set out, to be applied, so I would suggest anyone p1551ng blood over this, direct their anger towards them, rather than Arsenal.
'While maintaining the sporting integrity of the competition', is still a fecking hilarious line from that statement though. 😅
The rearranged game could have even more riding on it if moved to May and both teams are still in top 4 race. If both teams are playing their best teams then it could turn out to be a more valuable event for disappointed fans than tomorrow would be.

Leeds might nick a point.... Surely, they can't lose 3 times in a season?
Not sure if the postponement is a good thing. When the game is rearranged Xhaka may be available and he has more mistakes in him than the entire Spurs squad
I find this outrage very odd. Unless I have misunderstood the rules myself, a team can request postponement if they do not have 13 outfield players available of the 25 man squad. I think this rule pre-dates Covid. Therefore, each player’s reason is irrelevant. Happy to be corrected.

Yes you are right
Yeah 14 outfield players and a GK
Arse have only 12 available
So Liverpool can make up "false positives" to cancel a game but the uproar is only when arsenal ask for a postponement lol
