id love to know what roberts is like in training, cause there has to be a reason for it.

maybe he is one of those who is amazing in training but just cant translate it to the league

Fine margins though. At 1-0 Rod hits the bar with a screamer. At 2-0 he does the same with the post.

Had either of those gone in it might have been different.

However we have to understand that when teams play us at our own pressing game we definitely struggle.

Everton at home and in need of a big win was always going to be hard. They were far more up for it than we were.

Ever since all the press talk about Raph, he looks to be
playing to not get hurt. Yes, jet lag and Brazil games
have to be considered.

There are literally no more easy matches this season. With bottom teams scrapping for their lives, and our newfound inability to beat those under us, these are worrying times.

Far from it helping to drown my sorrows, I find that drink heightens the feeling of depression. Maybe I'm drinking the wrong stuff...

Watford and Norwich look relegated unless Woy works a miracle. Then the third spot is between a few clubs us probably included.

There may well be three teams currently worse than
us but we are squarely the fourth worst team with the
third worst GD. Major injuries and no recruitment.

i really do fail to see MBs and some on heres delusion with roberts. If i think about him i have a picture of a guy sitting on his backside pulling up his socks wondering why he didnt get a foul and the game has moved on and we have conceded whilst he throws his arms in the sky wondering still why he never got a foul for the wind blowing him over. Just poor alround player and sooner we ship him out and the deluded on here catch themselves on and see he offers absolutely nothing

There will be those who will point out that we're only
15 points off the European places. So, if you prefer

Burnley face Liverpool
Norwich face Man C
Watford haven't scored for 4 games

We'll be ok but this is a 'how not to run a football club' campaign

Newcastle and Everton will finish above us.

Just got to hope Burnley, Norwich and Watford continue looking so bad

Deflating result but I actually can't remember this season when we have played well in midweek and backed that up again with another good performance a few days later.
Yes I know we have injuries but Everton have just as bad an absentee list as us if not worse and beat us comfortably.
We are just not able to string two good performances in succession and that is a concern.
We are lucky that below us there are 3 worse teams that
look like it will save our skins this season.
