Typical Richards goal he was deadly inside the box, don’t think I went but did go to the 3-3 at Chelsea same season I believe

Good to see Neto back and smiling.
I'm surprised at Vinagre's permanent signing. He's not had a full 90 mins yet this season and only featured in 7 of the 22 matches Sporting have had in the league. Be interesting to see if this gets confirmed by Wolves.

“Could we play in the Champions League? Of course, If nobody leaves, if the club bring in one or two more players, yes, with this squad we can do very good things.”
Even Jose's on Amiga's case.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I actually agree with what Jose is saying.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely spot on, Jose.
It always sounded a strange deal that took Vinagre to Sporting. Reports at the time said there was a clause that gave Sporting an obligation to buy as long as they weren’t relegated. Given they are one of the top 3 teams in Portugal that was never really possible. So the deal is now confirmed and looks set to give Wolves £7.5m which to me is a really good deal for us

Usual suspects witless and Amiga “crying out for more signings”. Hopefully the club are more cautious and only bring in the right players on the right deals.
Fans are always impatient, let’s hope the club carry on doing it the right way, cos you know what? We’re not doing too badly.
Let’s just get behind the lads and support the clubs ethos as well as the team.
Soyuncu and Madison both went off injured in Leicester’s Europa Conference match on Thursday and are doubts for Sundays game against wolves
The U23's have a Premier League Cup match against Exeter on Tuesday, so it might be a good time for some of our returning wounded warriors to get some minutes, providing they don't feature on Sunday.
If we do get 7.5m, then it's a healthy 5m profit, seeing we got him for 2m or so from Monaco.
This falls in line with how Fosun stated they would conduct some of their transfer dealings. Buy young and sell for a profit.
36 mill -25 mill = 11 mill if we get lucky.
West Ham drew at home to Newcastle today and are now 5 points ahead of Wolves who have 3 games in hand

Flip flop
We're not arguing the toss at all. It's exactly what we've been saying. All you want, is spend big every transfer window with 3 or 4 new players and you've moaned at the end of every one.
My remarks about Mir, were that he didn't get the opportunity to show his worth. I would have liked to have seen him given a chance and said so on many occasions.
You remarks about Mir were that the signing made absolutely no sense.

I literally have no idea what you are confused about? Sa is saying we have a very good squad. Something I have always said.
Sa saying with one or two signings, could be challenging for a Champions League spot. I can agree with this too
If you think I am against making signings. You really don't understand.
Now lets contrast what Jose says with Cinci.
Jose says we have a very good squad. Cinci says our squad is good enough for 11th to 14th
Cinci say the last four transfer windows have been crap. Jose and our League position say otherwise.
Cinci said anyone considering a top six finish, have no idea what they are talking about. including Jose by the look of things.
Again I am not against making signings. I am not against spending money.
All I have said, is I don't expect big signings every transfer window. and if we bring in players for the future like Ait, Kilman, maybe Tito etc. That is actually very good transfer business.
I want them to be value for money and add to the squad, I don't care how much they cost. But they have to fit within our budget and make sense.
Nobody has asked for big signings every window at all, but off course that fits your and wolfie's narrative to say these things.
I could go on, but can I be bothered.
