He did OK at Sunderland from what I can remember, but was sacked from the Ipswich gig the day after we beat them 0-2 at Portman Road in 2010.
If you didn't pick up on the link, with Reading signing Paul Ince as manager, I'd love to see R Keane at Peterboro and see which manager combusts firsts.
Question for you all - with TL now suspended for three games, an opportunity has opened up in the No.10 role ( that's where TL was playing against Peterboro' if I'm not mistaken? )
Who would you recall and why?
The main options would be:
Ravel Morrison
Louie Sibley
I'd prefer to see LS given an opportunity in his rightful position and see if he can do something special in the next three games that will help us get some vital victories from incredibly difficult fixtures.
From WR's point of view, do we look to recall RM back into the side to keep him 'onside' as it were and feel part of the team. He strikes me as a player that obviously needs to feel loved but also one that's selected before certain Academy players.
Both might play. Festy might need a bit of a rest and be ready to come from the bench if need be. If Sibley plays I hope he isn't pushed wide. Might be a starting place for Thompson too if legs need resting. Knight looked spent when he was subbed on Saturday. It's a tough selection for Rooney with matches coming thick and fast..
I feel I lined that up for you. I was going to include a line about how both might be selected given Ebosele sounded as though he was blowing a little bit.
I deserve an assist
Additionally, do we risk changing our shape to accommodate bringing in fresher players and giving the suggested names a rest (Knight and Ebosele?) And be more difficult to break down vs Millwall who will be hard and dirty.
Three man defence of Stearman Davies Cashin ? Byrne and Forsyth as wingbacks with Bird Bielik Thompson sat in front and Morrison/Sibley + Plange.
I would quite like that team but I don't think Rooney is a fan of three at the back. I think he will actually play Knight anyway as his engine is so good. Maybe Knight will play one side, Thompson the other and either Sibley or Morrison behind Plange, hopefully Sibley.

try this if it works
Grewall-Pollard clearly has potential.
And before we move on to the Millwall thread, and given that some of you will now be taking up the sport... a final word of advice on Curling.
Probably not applicable to our Olympians but never more than 2-3 pints before go onto the ice.
What a goal by Everton 0-1

Hurt less when I fell on my backside, as well....
0-1, HT.
Plenty of the ball, but frustrated by poor final pass unfortunate deflections etc.
Everton more direct and its paid off.
Patience is the keyword.
