Arsenal the only team of those 3 in any kind of consistent form, should be theirs comfortably

Chelsea & United are their two trickiest fixtures, the rest you’d expect them to win

United still have Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool

I can rule out Manchester United now.

Spurs have improved a lot the last few weeks and starting to look like a Conte team. 4 wins in the last 5 and 16 goals in that time.

So I think we'll amass a decent amount of points, but I'd also say Arsenal look very good too, and think they will keep beating the lesser teams and get 4th.

Arsenal need 21 points from last 10 games to secure top 4.

Arsenal still have Chelsea away, West Ham Away, Spurs Away, Southampton Away, Palace away and United at home. That’s tough and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they only won 1 or 2 of those.

United have an awful fixture list as well, no way are they getting more than 5 wins from the final 9.

We have relatively sedate fixtures, we have a guaranteed loss at Anfield and we will struggle away to Villa. The other 2 away games though are Brentford and Norwich - Norwich being the last game of the season so probably already down.

Our home fixtures, Arsenal aside, on paper are very straight forwards:

Newcastle
Leicester
Brighton
Burnley
Arsenal

We have an appalling home record against Newcastle though and Leicester have turned us over a couple of times, however they will still be in Europe so I’m relatively confident about that one. Burnley is the penultimate game of the season, so once again they may already be down at that point and Brighton are in free fall.

In Summary, I expect the NLD to decide 4th and don’t think United will get close.

I make it 22 to be certain, otherwise GD could come into play and in the NLD goals are effectively double

It will be between Arsenal n Spurs.

A year in the Europa league for us isn't even the end of the world. Our finances can handle it and it's a great opportunity for the new coach to go for a major trophy.

Utd, Spurs or Arsenal will only be making up the numbers next season in the CL anyway. Not a chance any of us could win it.

Mate, this is not like going to the supermarket and say "make it two tins of baked beans, as we might need them"
You can't just order more points.

So should teams like Burnley, S'Hampton, Wolves, etc just not bother turning up in the PL coz they 'are just making up the numbers'?

My personal opinion, it'l be sorted before that game, if not, that game is going to be MASSIVE!

Obviously not, CL to Arsenal and Spurs means we can attract better players and theoretically afford them. United don’t really have to worry about that, although you would imagine any slim hope they have of getting Haaland would be CL dependant.

But overall he is correct, Arsenal, Spurs and United are miles off winning the thing and would likely go out RD 16 or maybe QF

I didn’t even realise there was a NLD still to play, I went on FlashScore for the remaining fixtures and it doesn’t show that

I’m not sure what you think you have read, but I’m simply saying that if Arsenal got 21 points and we got 24 from the remaining games then it would go down to GD - there is 2 goals difference at the moment, so a 1-0 win for Spurs over Arsenal would bring GD level.

Personally i see Arsenal dropping points at West Ham, Chelsea, Us and at home to United, I also fancy them to be held to a draw by either Palace or Southampton. I think they will get 18 points from their last 10 and I fancy we will get 21.

I think we could have an exciting last day where Arsenal are at home to Everton and we’re away to Norwich and it is essentially a shoot out against leaky defences to see who can Nick it on GD

Basically, from here on in Spurs have to match whatever result Arsenal get and hope that we beat them in the NLD and they lose their games in hand, which is against Chelsea (a)

Essentially yea, we also need to be trying to outscore them as well, if we can swing the GD our way before the last couple of games then it could add even more pressure on them.

I wouldn't completely rule out United. They have the firepower to go on a winning run.

They will lose at Chelsea but as for the NLD and Spurs matching their results, that remains to be seen.

They have terrible fixtures, they won’t get more than 2 points from the Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea games - if the won the other 6 that would give them 20 - Arsena would need 5 wins and a draw from 10 games to likely finish above them on goal difference. Spurs would need 6 wins and a draw to likely finish above them on goal difference. I’m very confident that we both won’t faaack it up sufficiently that they sneak in.

The Chelsea game is MD37 though. Chances are Chelsea will have nothing riding on that game at all and might even have one eye on a final.

That could help us but still don't think we'll do it.

Of course, but we have reasons to be optimistic, Kane and Son are finally hitting form together, Conte says things are beginning to work and we have the most favourable fixture list on paper. I was worrying about qualifying for Europe full stop after Wolves beat us a few weeks back, but those fears are gone and at absolute worse I think we finish 6th
