United still have Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really?
Welcome to the Champions League Arsenal/Spurs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Chelsea game is MD37 though. Chances are Chelsea will have nothing riding on that game at all and might even have one eye on a final.
That could help us but still don't think we'll do it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea love playing the spoiler role and they don’t have much love for United, I think they will go all out in that one.
I think any team who reaches 75 points is guarenteed 4th place.

They don't have much love for Spurs or Arsenal though either. Maybe less so.
I'd fancy our chances at home to a Chelsea team with nothing to play for tbh. However like I said we will probably lose 2/3 of the other games we are meant to win so it wont matter anyway.
I said when Conte was hired Spurs would be the most likely. But Arsenal have turned it around, and even though 10 games is a lot, if they can keep up the consistency no one is catching them.
That said, the fight for top 4 usually throws up inconsistencies from the teams challenging.
Utd I think we can discount. They are truly horrific as a team.
Spurs have it them to beat Liverpool but lose to Burnley. While Arsenal haven't beaten the teams above them yet, we're more consistent against everyone else, and that's all that really matters in the top 4 battle
Arsenal are basically flat track bullies. Best team that have beaten all season is probably Wolves.
It might well be enough to get them into the CL this particular season but I'm still not buying into the Arteta hype at all.
Next season with European football to contend with and possibly more stable competition from Utd and Spurs I expect they will find it much much tougher.
Spurs got better Firepower than arsenal and that's why I think they'll get it unfortunately.

Kane and Son, and as good as the two you have mentioned have been, they are not at the level of those two yet. Of course Kane and Son tend to be more injury prone, so that could factor.
I will confidently predict that whatever happens, come the last game of the season both Spurs and Arsenal will mathematically be able to qualify, it’s gonna be tight.

No that's what I have said. If you get 4th I think a lot of that will be down to the chaos at Spurs and Utd more than anything and also you not having European games to contend with this season.

I do t think it can be denied that Arsenal have massively benefitted from having no Europe and crashing out of the cups very early on. Arteta has had a full weeks to prepare for games and you even had a nice unofficial winter break.
Arsenal have done well - but they are only just ahead of Spurs and United - 2 sides that sacked their manager this season and whom have been getting loads of flak from the media - particularly Roy Keane (no idea what he has against Spurs). It’s got to be put in context, Arteta has done okay, if he performs similarly next year whilst you compete in Europe and progress in the cups then I think we can say he has turned it around
It’s not a guarantee that we will lose at Chelsea. Our recent record against them is good and they will be playing us off the back of a CL QF and FA Cup SF. I’m more confident of getting a result against Chelsea than away to Spurs which is a fixture we rarely get anything from.
I think if we beat Palace we will do it.
Southampton is not a tough fixture on paper, they appear to be on holiday and West Ham will likely have a Europa semi vs Barca to worry about on either side of our game.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeh because we are not going to strengthen in the summer. You’ve got one player that would get i our team that’s obviously Ronaldo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What a load of absolute nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On form who gets in our team other than Ronaldo? Possibly Sancho but I think Smithrowe and martinelli have been better through the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Never heard so much bias nonsense in my life.
You're telling me if Arteta had likes of Varane, Bruno, Sancho, Pogba etc he'd not pick any of them?
You won't be getting back to the Wenger days under Arteta. You're falling into the same trap as we did with Ole. It ends in tears.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pogba over Partey 🤔 don’t think so. I said, on form who currently who gets in the arsenal side from united side??

this is one i keep hearing from Spurs and Man u fans, acting like that is an insult. We wasn't in ANYONE'S pick for top 4 or even top 6 at the start of the season. We're doing better than expected, now we're flat track bullies, beating teams chitter than us and losing to teams better than us.
Isn't that what your lot should be doing?

Spurs got better Firepower than arsenal and that's why I think they'll get it unfortunately.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really? We got Smith Rowe and Saka both in double figures, Martinelli looking dangerous, goals are coming from everywhere. They are heavily reliant on Kane.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane and Son, and as good as the two you have mentioned have been, they are not at the level of those two yet. Of course Kane and Son tend to be more injury prone, so that could factor.
I will confidently predict that whatever happens, come the last game of the season both Spurs and Arsenal will mathematically be able to qualify, it’s gonna be tight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Son needs Kane to bring him into the game, as a pair yeh they are lethal but if Kane is out I think Son can be easily nullified.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When Kane's been out before, we've played Son as CF and he's scored goals still.
That said, I'd rather have both in the side obvs.

No that's what I have said. If you get 4th I think a lot of that will be down to the chaos at Spurs and Utd more than anything and also you not having European games to contend with this season.
Next season will be a truer test of how far Arteta has really taken you.

Yeah strangely when Kane is out Son actually has always stepped up and plays more of a team role too
He doesn’t just rely on Kane
