They could be in the Champions League which would be a pull, as would the fact Ben White is a very good friend of his. He might not even want a move for all anyone knows, but if he did then it would be foolish to rule out Arsenal.

Liverpool wouldn't pay the fee wanted considering who they already have
City have Rodri, can't see them going all out for Phillips.
Chelsea have to sort out a bit of a bigger issue than signing Phillips...
As for United, Leeds carried Alan Smith shoulder high days before he signed for the Mancs... don't rule it out.

Everybody knows with Phillips anyone on these boards shouting his name is trying the wind!..

Phillips is an old type "one club one man" player, his loyalty to Leeds cant be bettered!..

If Leeds were to go down that might be a deciding factor, but there are more than just English clubs interested!..

And getting him cheap, Villa were after him for 60m in the Championship, and his injuries this year are one off the reasons we're where we now are!..

He won't come cheap, the same as Raphinha, they're both worth more now and Leeds know that, they will have the final say but then, Phillips will have a say as well!..

It will take one hell off a pull or another division to take him away from Leeds, oh, and the right club which I cant see ManU being one off!..

I can really see United, Chelsea (depending on their situation) and maybe City fighting it out for Rice this summer.

He'd be fantastic for Liverpool, for some reason I just can't see them going for him whilst they still have that functioning midfield. Could be wrong though.

As you say if he does leave it could well come down to who gets the cl spot. Would Levy be willing to part with the cash though..

How on earth has he played so many games at cb!

He’ll end up at Villa.

Rather give Torreira another chance who has had a very good season in serie a than spend 50-60 mill on Phillips. I do like him but Leeds would want silly money for him.

Gunner - understand where your coming from as the better half is an Islington girl born and bred. - but a mile better than Xhaka ( Mrs feels Xhaka is a liability )

But you have to understand your on sensitive ground and Kalvin is probably a Matt le Tissier type wirh a bit of luck.

....should have also stated Ben White was an absolute rock for us Championship Winning season - you have the real deal there.

after barely playing this year i think as an academy player he would want to give a few more years to leeds. at least thats my feeling.
and why do you think thiago hasn't worked at liverpool. besides being injured a lot he's been good.

Liverpool will not be paying 100m or anywhere near that figure for anyone, leave alone Rice.

If the Rice hype dies down then we might eventually come in with a bid of about half his current valuation and sign him out of the blue.

We won't be competing with United and the doped up cheat clubs for any player IMO>

It’s all silly money though isn’t it!

We offered Brighton reasonable money to keep Ben White…just doesn’t work.

I like what they are doing down at Arsenal, a lot of young British talent getting a chance and doing well.
