Anybody wanting him had best hope Leeds go down, because other then that he's Leeds and everybody knows it!..

Germany who is Irish…hey M8! Any chance Germany shuts off the other pipeline?

Yes Villa, they are huge spenders and trying to break into Europe.

I was hoping Germany would nuke those pipelines, the problem is if they did, where would the stuff in them that Germany needs end up?.

I heard Villa mentioned, where the f’kin hell did that rumour surface from?? Is that some sort of sick joke?

Also, he only slotted in at CB when Leeds were attacking in numbers and our defence would split their forward line, as a ball playing anchor man.

I really hope we keep him and there’s a good chance he might want to stay his home club, but wouldn’t blame him wanting Champions League, we’re talking a pick of the very top clubs. That’s not your Man utd’s or Arsenal’s

Can see him at Liverpool.

We need somebody who helps break down defences with dribbling and passing on that left hand side. Phillips is a good player but he's not that.

Villa wanted him in January. West Ham might go for him if they get big money for Rice, other than those two the clubs in Europe won’t pay decent money for him.

Phillips passing range and accuracy puts the team on the front foot in many a game!..

He can split a defense with his passing and he also breaks up play!..

I doubt Villa or anyone came in for him in jan, as no bids were ever reported and the fact he is only just now coming back from a long term injury, he wouldn’t have been able to pass a fitness test.

I think people read too many newsnow sharticles

posted on 23/3/22

From what I gather the extent of his injury was why they didn’t sign him, but they wanted him. By the way, a player can pass a medical if they are injured.

Think we could do better for the money in that particular role

posted on 23/3/22

There wasn’t a bid for him, or if there was I’m sure it would have been laughed off if it was Villa or West Ham

posted on 23/3/22

Why would it be laughed off if it was Villa or West Ham? If they offer the right money the transfer would happen.

100% wouldn’t rule it out at all

But dont rule out Liverpool cos of the fee especially as they are going to have another successful season with regards to incoming money ….don’t rule them out either just cos of who they have….Henderson is on the decline and Thiago hasn’t worked

City , doesn’t matter who they have! As proved with grealish signing ! They didn’t need him but they have shown they sign players to stop them joining others

Chelsea will have new owners who will want to flex some muscle but think they will sign Rice

In all honesty both You guys and Tottenham could do with him ….who gets 4th has the best chance at Phillips

I’d love him at Tottenham

Good point about United and Alan smith though , forgot about him , so maybe United on that reasoning

after barely playing this year i think as an academy player he would want to give a few more years to leeds. at least thats my feeling.
and why do you think thiago hasn't worked at liverpool. besides being injured a lot he's been good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope you are right for Leeds sake mate, be great if he stays there but I just have a feeling he will be on the move this summer

I don’t think Thiago is cut out for the prem….he plays some nice passes now and then but so do a lot of players….he was built up by many as some sort of pirlo who controls games so maybe I’ve been underwhelmed by him ….it’s not that he has been bad I guess I just expected more

Henderson can do that too. We need a proper playmaker type.

Why would he want to sign for one of those clubs? I don’t get your point? Can you really see Phillips, an England regular, one of the best midfielders in the country going to a mid table club?

posted on 23/3/22

Yes, why not? West Ham are in Europe and Villa aren’t too far away with the right signings.

West ham are in Europe and villa have European aspirations. Depends if they can sell it to him. It isn't far fetched to suggest he goes to one of those clubs.

I reckon he'll likely go to Everton. When they sign him, Ndidi, Bissouma and Nzonzi all in the same window

As a Leeds fan who has watched just about every game that KP has played in since he broke through, I am here to let other clubs know he is completely crap and should not be taken out of Leeds. Best to let him rot there for the rest of his illustrious career!

Take my advice, we would really appreciate that.

Second that Jonny. Over-rated, over-hyped. Found his level in a relegation dogfight.

Seriously though- he nearly went to Villa the year we missed promotion. He is a Leeds lad, but he deserves champion’s league football. If a top 4 side came in for him I wouldn’t begrudge him leaving.

Villa won’t be Europe and Wedt Ham might just get the conference league if they’re lucky.

It’ll be Liverpool or Sheik City

If we stay up, as long as the money is right, K.P. will want to draw his pension with us. His whole life is Leeds and unlike a lot of players he will not want to sell his soul. The lad has integrity.
However, we have massive gaps, left back, creative midfield, up front, keeper, all over the pitch really.
We also have an owner who is looking to recoup costs and new owners lined up who are unlikely to want to spend.
I am confident that KP may not want to leave but might end up leaving just to balance the team and the books.

Villa will be looking to push for Europe next season, and West Ham will be in Europe in some form you’d expect. He’ll get a big pay increase and better opportunities to play in Europe. City and Liverpool will have their eyes on much better players, if they are even going to sign any midfielders.
