We're going to get mauled, let's be honest
If we could rely on the players to give 100%, show fight etc then maybe.. But they've shown repeatedly there's barely a ounce of bravery among them
Add in we've no midfield, our defence is a shambles and Ralf can't seem to get anything from them at all
It'll be 4-0

This is the point. Forget historical rivalry, where each team is in the table and all that, if two PL teams are playing then it should never be a foregone conclusion. But when one of them has completely the wrong attitude and doesn't put in enough effort, then it's hard to see them getting anything.
To be honest, in my time supporting United I really can't think of many matches I've been less confident about than this one tonight.

apparently barry lives in scotland and culer in manchester

I'd prefer if everyone just ignored both of them
Ole might have pulled something out of the bag but can’t see anything but a win for the Dips under Ralf
Our ladies team would give them a better game, if they score early which they will a bloodbath will follow as our spineless tw@ts wilt.
A little nervous and no we won't get a result. It's a matter of how many Liverpool settle on.
Need Phil Jones back to his best tonight
Need a good old Fergie smash and grab perfomance tonite at Anfield. Set up not to lose, and try and quieten the crowd and frustrate them in the first half. First 20 mins or so will be crucial. must get to HT without conceeding (laughable I know) and then maybe change things after an hour and see what we can do.
Problem is we clearly havent got the players for this. so is a a big night for the back 3/4 without a McFred pivot. No Shaw, Varane, Bruno had a car crash Monday, no Cavani, and now Ronaldo .....
Lets be honest, they will probably be 3-0 up after half an hour and out of sight. Could be one of our worst days at Anfield ever.
If we lose badly Ralf has to go.
I honestly think it will be a drab 1-0 win for us...probably score from a set piece in the 70min or some shiiit.

It’s a free hit against Pool. No real pressure other than from a rivalry standpoint. Better to focus on the Arsenal game which I think we can win - especially if Ronaldo is back and feels like he wants to focus on football (which if he doesn’t I totally understand)
Form goes out the window in these games but under Ole we had a pretty terrible record against Liverpool and I can’t see Ralf finding a solution anytime soon. Playing Matic in midfield should at least bring some more protection than we had against Norwich.

Why would Ralf go? You have your new manager, the handover process will be with Ralf with him going upstairs. He's not going anywhere.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
RBW thinks Ole should have been given the season so is doing that thing where the new manager should be punished as badly as Ole was if we lose - forgetting it wasn’t getting hammered against Liverpool that lost Ole the job. It was getting hammered by a terrible Watford

A sluggish start from us wouldn't be at all surprising given what was a mammoth effort on Saturday, so that's the only worry. Would expect our quality to shine through eventually though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Give us some crumbs Neo. Where is your most vulnerable part of the team. Where could be cause damage. I'd say most probably down the sides if your full backs press high but that's just from odd games I've seen. Pushing them up obviously a net gain for you of course overall.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, we have pretty few vulnerabilities at the moment, but the main one is clear diagonals over Trent's head if you can beat the offside trap, so with Sancho that's one area you'll get some joy I expect. City tore us apart at times in the league game in that area but they had KDB pulling the strings.
Do United have anyone resembling that kind of quality of pass to take advantage, not convinced personally, but we'll see.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah I see. Any hopes dashed then because of this sentence "Do United have anyone resembling that kind of quality of pass to take advantage"!
I suppose Pogba does have the quality if afforded time on the ball. We know he won't get that though. It may just be worth playing him deeper than usual though to start with to ping those balls over in the hope that'll make you sit back a bit. I know I'm clutching here!
