Hafi never watches it. He sets up the sides on pes on PS4 and watches that for 90mins, hence where he get gets the stats from!

Now that was painful. The first dethroning of Fergie; I thought we were invincible at that point. Domestically anyway.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was because we had chances ourselves to win the game at the end. The City one we couldn't have done more. It's incredible to think that between 93 and 2001 we won 7 out of 9 titles and lost the other two by a point each. Also between 2007 and 2013 we won five titles and lost two on the final day (GD and one point). Heady days that we perhaps took for granted!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't believe we only lost the 1998 title to Arsenal by a point - felt more comfortable for them by the end.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair I think they lost their last two games at Anfield and Villa Park which made it look tighter than it probably was.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Right… That makes more sense. I have a memory of us beating Leeds at OT (3-0 I think). It wasn’t the last day but we knew the title had gone. How the season ended is a bit hazy for me… I think of Arsenal’s win over Everton that clinched it as the last game, but obviously it can’t have been.
I was on about the user MOTD claim lol. I watched our last 2 EL finals. I even knew when De Gea played instead of Henderson we could be screwed like De Gea instead of Romero in 2020 Semi-final.
Anyway I am hoping we can win. The Everton game made me hope for 6th at best. 4th now would be a miracle but you could say 19/20 Man Utd getting 3rd and Liverpool 20/21 getting 3rd was a miracle.
I've always hated United, obviously, as I grew up with Fergie being our arch-nemesis.
But always had immense amounts of respect for what United achieved between the 90s and when Fergie left.
I never had that same respect for clubs like Chelsea and Spurs. City I always had a soft spot for before they were rich. Enemy's enemy and all that.

Yes, we beat Leeds on the Easter Monday at OT. Becks scored and ran to the Leeds fans if I recall and celebrated in front of them.

Why would anyone apologise to you? You do this virtually every week and you’re always wrong. Obviously one day we’ll lose, but it doesn’t mean you got it spot on, it just knocks your failure rate down to 99.8%.

“Feeling strangely relaxed about tonight as there's no real expectations.”
Running was an expectation…đ
Yeah I was just hoping for a miracle. I actually thought we will get thrashed as De Gea being in goal means he will rarely savrea shot unless straight at him. De Gea actually ranked near the worst keeper for errors and staying on his line. Henderson is opposite he usually stays high up the pitch and tries to close the attackers angled down.
Mental how Henderson doesn’t play considering he was the best goalkeeper in the league in 19/20 and 20/21 season.
Just checked stats and this was Liverpool biggest overperformance of XG all season in the league by far. 2.26XG and scored 4 goals. Also the shots that were on target had a total XG of 1.24 yet De Gea conceding 4 goals from it. Been happening for months now the XG for shots on target is low yet De Gea concedes at a rate no keeper ever has before. I think we are over 15 goals down now since Rangnick got the job compared to what an average keeper would save.
