We could spell the end for this generation's Liverpool. A win or even a draw tonight would stop Liverpool from winning the anything. There is no treble or quadruple without the league. They just don't count.
So once we knock this ageing Liverpool side out of the title race, that will be it, heads down out of the FA Cup to masters Chelsea and no chance in a CL final against buoyant PL Champions or experienced and well rested Real Madrid.
Out of form Salah will be off in summer, an ageing Van Dijk will be in decline. Captain Henderson will be approaching his mid thirties. That will be it for this Liverpool side, if we get a point tonight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i cant see you guys losing to these senior citizens.

It’s possibly even worse than that, Jordan Henderson has been spotted parking in disabled spots at hospitals, so that must mean he’s in advanced age and has a disability. It couldn’t be any other reason he’d use a disabled spot, right?

I've got a few days off from now, so started early, will hopefully inebriated enough to not remember the game.
Same happened with the Agueroooo goal, woke up once all the carnage had ensued. Strangely don't feel as bitter about that, not having lived the moment.

That Aguero goal doesn't haunt me at all in truth. I always felt City were going to win that game. The West Ham draw in 1995 hurts a lot more still.
Now that was painful. The first dethroning of Fergie; I thought we were invincible at that point. Domestically anyway.

It was because we had chances ourselves to win the game at the end. The City one we couldn't have done more. It's incredible to think that between 93 and 2001 we won 7 out of 9 titles and lost the other two by a point each. Also between 2007 and 2013 we won five titles and lost two on the final day (GD and one point). Heady days that we perhaps took for granted!

I don’t think we’ll hammer you. More likely something like 2-0 or similar. I think if we get a two goal cushion we’ll just look to control the game and conserve energy.
Obviously it may not work that way and we might have to scrap for 90 mins, which I think we’ve got plenty in the tank for.

West Ham was a killer gutted me for weeks especially with Pool beating Blackburn
This season the two games with City and at OT with Liverpool have been three of the worst United performance I have seen in my lifetime, in each case we completely gave up in the second half and we’re just toyed with, this is the last chance for some of these no marks to show some pride but I’m expecting exactly the same again a spineless capitulation

It's at about this time I'm expecting Barry to come out with something like:
