I wasn't too sure how yesterday would go, but Super Steve Cooper has Clough levels of player motivation, coupled with a shrewd head for tactics.

This game really feels like a rehearsal for a potential play off final for either team, as whoever wins this will almost certainly make auto’s. The one that doesn’t make auto will be a very strong favourite for the play off final, destiny is in both teams hands, what a game in prospect, hope the officials are up to it.

Surprisingly I hope you beat Bournemouth, That's not because I have suddenly developed an affection for you on the dark side, it's just that a poxy little club like Bournemouth belongs in Division 1 not the Premier league or even the Championship. They were promoted by riding a coach and horses through FFP and then received a tap on the wrist from the EFL when relegated.

The stats from the Swansea game are insane.

We had only 30% possession (a little less than half-an-hour with the ball), and still managed 27 shots, 17 of those on target, a record in professional football in England this season. It roughly works out to one shot every minute that we had possession!

How nuts is that?

I doubt most 5 a side teams could manage that 🤣

Pity that only Sky subscribers will get to watch live on the telly.
I'm sure that Parker was in touch with the game at the C.G so when Mighten scored the 5th in the 84th minute [Billing got Muffs 3rd on 79] he must have been greatly cheesed off.

We will need to play Colback in D/C/M and start Layrea at R/B because Muff have more of a cutting edge, compared to Swansea who flattered only to deceive.

The Fulham V Luton game is creating an interesting situation. As the GD for Luton does create an opportunity for Millwall to have some hope a win could move them to the playoffs in their last game at Bournemouth 🤔

7-0 Fulham. Gives Millwall plenty to play for at Bournemouth.

Congrats to Fulham. By far the second best team in the Championship (after us, of course!!!)

We possess the lowest goals away tally in the division!

That may well change after tomorrow though.

Nice stat Bear.

Bournemouth’s slim hopes of finishing as champions have gone. Now lets kill of their auto hopes, so we don’t have to play Boro without Spence!

In 24 hours (after Bournemouth) we’ll know. Time to work bloody hard and kill the day!

I'm curious to see what the last game of the season will be.

If we win tomorrow, then it could well be us, as beating Hull would likely see us automatic. Plus, Sky loves goals, and who better to deliver them on recent form (excluding Fulham), than us.

However, if we draw, then surely Bournemouth v Millwall is the final televised game. As we would still need a Millwall win (and us to win with significant GD) to see us go up automatically.

If we lose, then it's between us and Huddersfield for 3rd and 4th. Hardly worthy of being televised based on the other games. You'd think it would be Sheffield United v Fulham.

19 hours to go then...

A draw and I think we may still get automatic. We have better goal difference now and I can see us beating Hull and Millwall beating Muff.
We win tonight and we’re as good as there.

There is a part of me that would love to go to Wembley with Forest with little bunk and see them win, so while that options on the table still I am content

It would be very “football” for Steve Cook to score tonight….

That's an interesting prospect, also do not Muff have another Steve Cook currently in their team?

Our ex Philip billing is in Central midfield aswell...a very tall but skillful player and you will need to try and keep him quiet this evening

He also thinks the world of himself and is a mercenary

He’s their danger man; more so than Solanke I think. He plays just behind Solanke and could be difficult to pick up. Yates and Cook May be the ones to stop him and they’ll need to be fully switched on.

I get the impression that the vast majority of neutrals want Forest to get auto ahead of muff. We have the history, the fan base, and are a much bigger club. A lot of love out there for us tonight.

I’ll say this now: I wouldn’t be too disappointed if we don’t go up this season. I’ve lived the glory years and I think the Championship is a better competition than the prem. I will be disappointed for the younger fans though who have never seen us in the top flight. Whatever happens between now and Sunday I know the club is in the right hands. Recruitment is right, coaching is top rate and so promotion will happen one day soon.
